I found this super helpful. Most I kept at the standard but stickers and greeting cards I went up close to average. I had my stickers at 100 but lowered them to 50% as I am trying to generate more sales. I got 2 stickers sales last week so maybe that helped. For having almost 900 designs my sales are just a few here and there not sure what I am doing wrong.

I live in Canada and when I leave my pricing margin to 20% it shows my shirts to be super expensive. If I lower it to 15 % the shirt is like $25 which is still expensive. In order to get my prices low enough to match other prices I have to drop down to 5-10 % which is low profit. Any suggestions?

I don't understand how they work this stuff out. I have a way smaller markup than but it's giving me a higher retail price and smaller margin. Apron Retail $25.95 Margin $3.48 Markup $15.5%. And for the masks, if I put it down to 5% the retail price is 12l.16$ which is higher than what you're showing and only gives a 58¢ margin

Hey Juna. I was working and I thought of you because I have a problem for 3 years with illustrator, how to find inspiration for text forms, let's say I have my sentence in mind, how to create several designs with the same text, because once I create my first design the inspiration does not come for the 2nd 3rd design etc. Where to find another inspiration for my others designs. I try to look at the other designs for inspiration but every time I watch your videos I find that you come easily with your ideas so surely you have sources to find inspiration for your other designs. How to put my text on several shapes? How to put the text with good fonts?
@DetourShirts
@DetourShirts 3 жыл бұрын
I would suggest looking for different ideas on the internet and save them as an inspiration board.... I've been creating designs for a while so I have a bunch of ideas in my head already... Also, save the ones you made that you like into a inspiration file... over time you will have a great collection.

This video is very helpful. I may have a different pricing strategy than others. If you are buying and selling items you need to make more $ per item on high-priced items since you put out more money for inventory. In POD you don't buy any products you are simply selling your design on a wide variety of items. Except for low-cost items like stickers and magnets, I try to make $4 to $6 dollars per item no matter how much the buyer's cost is since I'm selling the same design on all the items. I may adjust this on specific designs that take much more time and effort to design but I haven't tried that yet. I'm still relatively new to this and have much to learn.

Hi Juna. If you have time could you do a video for dummies on how to upload for kids’ products on RB? Instructions say enable standard clothing in uploader. Well isn’t that what I’ve been doing all along? So then it says hit “the edit “ button. Jesus, what the hell does that mean? THE edit button. Where is that? When I upload designs, there are 20 or so edit buttons, one for each item. Not THE edit button. Then it says head over to the availability tab. Um no. No such tab that I can see cuz I can’t get there. I wonder if I’m the only dip sh.... out here who can’t figure it out, though I’ve mastered the English language and can read. Thanks
