SO I just got done on my second playthrough and...I just don't understand him. That smirk at the end and how he acts in the game almost makes me think he *wanted* the androids to become self aware. Like he knew what was going to happen and wanted it to happen, he is a tricky one.

He does support deviancy. He built Connor's exit from Amanda and the deviancy system for those in emotional shock.

He planned it all along. Watch Kamski's secret ending. If every main character dies too early, you can see him being angry, and then returning to Cyberlife - possible making the deviant virus again. He wants them to go deviant, but he constantly lies to the media and to humans :D Also he helps Connor a lot. I think he is an interesting character.

you know, this whole deviant thing being like a virus or an error is weird. As he said, machines are programmed to obey humans. Well not quiet right. They are programmed to obey their code. If the code says to turn left, it will turn left. if it says to save as many people from fires, it will. An android is not supposed to become deviant because it's not in the code. Not even the possibility. Unless of course, he was programmed to "break protocol", to go against its owner, to have a "free will", to become what they call a deviant. Kamski is a smart man. Too smart. From what I think, he was trying to create deviants but also was aware of the public view on the matter. So at first sight of success, he left Cyber-life to not take responsibility.

In the scene with Kamski in the game, he says that because A.I. was becoming smarter than humans, "confrontation was inevitable." Kamski single handedly control the revolution of Android. He intentionally gives Markus as a gift to Carl Manfred because he knows Carl will teach him wisdom about "decide for yourself and not listen to what people tell you what to be." Kamski IS RA9!!!! I just realized. Kamski programmed these androids, as he said, he always leaves a backdoor in his programs. What if he programmed deviancy? He created deviancy. Maybe he is RA9. You’d probably think he isn’t because of all the stuff he said about RA9 and the androids at one ending of the game, but he was hiding it. He was just watching this all happen. He is RA9 Think about it, In later parts of the game it is said Kamski gave the prototype of Markus to Carl. What if he intended this?
