SO I just got done on my second playthrough and...I just don't understand him. That smirk at the end and how he acts in the game almost makes me think he *wanted* the androids to become self aware. Like he knew what was going to happen and wanted it to happen, he is a tricky one.

He planned it all along. Watch Kamski's secret ending. If every main character dies too early, you can see him being angry, and then returning to Cyberlife - possible making the deviant virus again. He wants them to go deviant, but he constantly lies to the media and to humans :D Also he helps Connor a lot. I think he is an interesting character.

you know, this whole deviant thing being like a virus or an error is weird. As he said, machines are programmed to obey humans. Well not quiet right. They are programmed to obey their code. If the code says to turn left, it will turn left. if it says to save as many people from fires, it will. An android is not supposed to become deviant because it's not in the code. Not even the possibility. Unless of course, he was programmed to "break protocol", to go against its owner, to have a "free will", to become what they call a deviant. Kamski is a smart man. Too smart. From what I think, he was trying to create deviants but also was aware of the public view on the matter. So at first sight of success, he left Cyber-life to not take responsibility.
