Technically, Kamski started the Android revolution, he gave Markus (a prototype) to Carl Manfred (the most legendary character). Markus (RK200) while Connor (RK800). They created Connor to see if they can stop Markus, it all depends on you to make an outcome. That's why only Connor & Markus able to simulate before execute, and reasons why Kamski left CyberLife to avoid suspicious. Someone said that we are the Kamski, that's why there's Chloe at the menu.😵

This becomes a lot more trippy when you consider the existence of rA9. If you chase Rubpert and obtain his diary, you can translate what it says later in "Last Chance, Connor" to find Jericho. The first page that details rA9 gives a description of all three playable characters. Kara: "rA9 was the first of us to awaken." This is mainly a reference to the original Detriot become Human teaser called "Kara". It shows Kara (likely the same model from the game) working just fine but then developing emotion which touches the human analyzer. This trailer is most likely cannon as Kara's backstory shows her going deviant multiple times when Todd has to finally break her again and again. She succeeds this time due to her being implanted with rA9. Markus: "rA9 is our savior" Markus is flat out called "rA9" due to his pursuits of giving andriods rights. Both Kamski (who specifically created and gifted Markus) and Carl are the only pro-deviant humans at first. They raise and designed Markus to express humanity. Carl always talks to Markus humanity, philosophy, and free-will to Markus before he even becomes deciant. This makes Markus an andriod who inspires and converts others with his words or his actions. Connor: "rA9 will set us free" Connor is the most advanced andriod to exist, being a tool by Cyberlife directly. We see that he is capable to doubt himself, and is capable of completely irrational thought/actions that are beyond his program. His link to Cyberlife makes him instincually think to inflitrate their HQ to wake up andriods. In other words "set them free", as he himself went on a tale of self-discovery to grant him freedom and independence. Amanda also says when Connor is alone about to give the speech that Connor was always intended to takeover the revolution, and the Cyberlife had always intended to give andriods free will. There are two other big pieces of evidence. First, all deviants beside the main characters are fully aware and worship rA9, not even Kara who is a normal deviant. Second is the ending in which Machine Connor is successful and is decommissioned. Remember that both Markus and Connor are the same "RK" model who seemingly have more advanced cognitions, even before deviancy. More importantly, both are prototypes. Connor is replaced by Cyberlife with the finalized the "RK900" ("r" and "9") who is most likely the last hope. An eerie phrase as North says andriods will "awaken again" and "will win". My conclusion is that the player is rA9. The player grants these andriods choices, and as you said, it's a "game" by Kamski to see what comes of it.

If this happened irl, Cyberlife would be sued out of existence. Even with Kamiski coming back as CEO & going on tv saying it's all been fixed. They'd all be called into Congress for a hearing. There is footage of Kamiski saying they'd never become self-aware or a problem & using the exact same examples about progress, so why would they believe anything he says after the fact? The humans have the receipts.

I think it's just for the reason that Connor is a replaceable 'thing' in Cyberlife's eyes if you go down the Machine path. He doesn't see himself as having free will or a purpose greater than his mission, but Cyberlife replacing him with a more advanced version of himself is in line with the natural progression of technology. Like a new iPhone model replacing the prior one, even if the old iPhone model works perfectly fine.

If Connor stopped the android rebellion I think in reality cyberlife would immortalize Connor building a statue of it to show strength and having it do interviews with news networks about dealing with deviants and his experience stopping them the rk800 would be obsolete with no purpose for investigating instead his new mission would just to be a figure head/promoter for cyber life that would be its only goal

This ending was Kamski's plan from the beginning. He coded in the rA9 virus into every Android so that when Marcus (the custom Android Kamski made for Carl) started rallying Androids together in the name of "freedom", they would all go against their programming. This would eventually lead to war and the eventual recall/destruction of all Androids. At that point he can retake his position as CEO of CyberLife and start the entire process over again by selling the new & improved, "fixed" Androids. Eventually when the Androids win, his creation becomes the leading influence on the world, all under his control.

@bats203810 ай бұрын
In the real game, they don't. If connor is decommissioned for not finding Jericho, Markus will actually never go to the church with the remaining deviants to form the plan, be it Violent Revolution or Peaceful Protest. Instead, he makes the decision at Jericho itself. I'd search it up on youtube. It's kinda trippy seeing it happen in Jericho and not the church. (It's not walk-playable though because there's nothing to talk about, about the raid survivors or camps, etc.)

Kamski wanted androids free sooo bad dude he was asked in an interview (in one of the game trailers) “could the androids ever develop their own consciousness and rise up?” And he said no, obviously. Wow, I don't think I've ever heard this Amanda dialogue - despite pretty much devouring cut DBH content! It's also relieving to hear how the Rose/Kamski ending is unlocked. I've seen it before and tried to get it myself, but obviously failed. Do you think it was cut on purpose or on accident? It seems like an outcome that should've been in the final game!
@dragonbane02 жыл бұрын
Yep I was so sure I had the solution with this route, only for the game to inexplicably not allow me to reject Alice despite being max negative haha. I've investigated the code for it recently and you can tell it is definetly not a mistake. The game script in fact still deals with this exact scenario to set story flags appropiately (Connor not finding Jericho and Alice rejected). However, the cutscene itself has a "hack" added to it where it specifically blocks the rejected state if Connor did not find Jericho, no matter how negative you are with Alice. So I've removed that and the rest immediately worked as designed. The Rose Kamski ending does in fact even play like this without any extra work needed, the checks are all there, you just can't get the right flags in a casual playthrough. As for why they did it, I would assume hitting the credits with this combination was deemed unsatisfying and they wanted to prolong it by allowing Kara to play Battle for Detroit

Interesting implications are in this scrapped ending. Firstly there’s much more of an overt overlap between Kamski and Amanda’s talk points than in the final version with different endings. Amanda openly states that androids are inevitable. It’s also openly stated that RK series will continue even if Kamski returns back to helm the whole company. I think these additional implications stay true in the final game but are just made more ambiguous. Secondly, Cyberlife OG goal is never stated to Connor in the Zen garden and I think Cyberlife has always expected to create a sort of tension between Connor’s mission as well as his loyalty to Amanda and his loyalty to Hank. It’s not accidental that Connor was made to work with a difficult law enforcement agent, but it’s also not accidental that Connor was given almost 0 info about Hank’s bio or not presented with the most optimal strategy in dealing with him. So, an almost complete replication between Connor’s machine ending and Connor’s failure endings just make this again more clear instead of a more ambiguous nature of Cyberlife’s true intentions in the final version, i.e. Cyberlife has always intended to cause a deviant uprising and for Connor to turn deviant, so by staying a machine he ‘failed’. Thirdly, potentially quite amicable relations between Kamski and the board. Kamski, during his encounter with Connor, either pushes him further to deviancy with a much better test than whatever ‘self tests’ Cyberlife has installed into Connor or rewards him with a location of Jericho, which will inevitably lead to a confrontation with Markus. It all falls too neatly with the board’s plan for Connor’s deviancy and dealing with the uprising. But also they’re quite similar in methods as potentially most of the challenges that Connor faces are merely tests expected or designed by Cyberlife, so both Kamski and Amanda are quite fond of tests and games. Again this is all already in the final version, but this ending just puts more focus on this. TL:DR Kamski is villain, and both humanity’s and androids futures are murky, as even in complete failure of their plans Kamski and Cyberlife have contingencies in place
