I have a 74 Diamond Reo tandem cab & chasis with naturally aspirated V671 and butterfly hood, runs great but needs rear wheel seals. It’s one of those projects in waiting.

How's the Diamond now?

@@andrewking4885 It’s still waiting, I have to at least start it this year. I have that and too many other things which haven’t been started in 2 to 5 years.

@@oldamericaniron5767 If it's still running good the engine should fine. You've got a classic there. I wish I had it.

@@andrewking4885 It’s a great running engine. A year ago I bought an 18 foot flatbed for it, between that and my 24 foot tag trailer it would be fewer trips to haul equipment to shows. At least that’s my plan, all I have to do is stay healthy and live long enough! 😀

It would be really nice to see this gem at work once again, though clearly it's a long way from being drivable. Hopefully you can make it happen.

Parked for a reason...would've been exciting if it started running backwards when you managed to stall it...

Not for me it wouldn't have. It felt like my heart stopped when the clutch grabbed and wouldn't let go. I was wound pretty tight to begin with with how steep that hill got and how fast.
