I’m glad you said this. To me, it’s especially important now that gambling is involved. Imagine all of the people who lost their money on prop bets like Hutch getting a sack but it’s influenced by obv shady officiating and nobody does anything even with the Commissioner and the head of officiating are present at the game. How is it remotely fair to allow betting if the rules aren’t uniform and strictly enforced? I do think KC’s pass rush was much better than expected, and with it being week 1 the lions were dealing with some miscues on the O line. Time will tell!

@@PKnight37 The only drop that was super bad by Toney was the one that got intercepted (which was also a great play by Branch to grab with one hand, 9/10 times that gets dropped by a DB). The one over the middle was poorly thrown as 2 receivers were crossing each other. And the last throw was like 2 feet behind him. Tbh the last one still shoulda been caught, but not a good throw. Mahomes was off his game and almost threw about 5 picks.

Let me first start by saying that comparing anybody to Tom Brady is beyond ridiculous. However, if Patrick is supposed to be the next great one, he’s going to have to elevate his teammates around him. How many times did we see Brady without Gronk in his top receivers and go deep into the playoffs reach a Super Bowl and even win one, without his best players out there. That’s one of the many things that made him so special, he elevated the players he had. People forget Patrick Mahomes has had the luxury of players like Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, and a great offensive coach like Andy Reid from the very beginning of his career. Brady never had those luxuries. Patrick is going to have to learn how to win, despite having the very best players on the field if he wants to take those next steps.
