Detroit Lions GM Brad Holmes held a media availability on Thursday morning, just a week before the NFL Draft in Detroit. Holmes touched on a variety of topics but didn't give much away as to what the Lions will be looking for in the draft.

There was all the confusion about not taking Jahmyr at 12 when Bijan was available at 6, and that kind of confusion over drafting position really didn't exist for Campbell, LaPorta, or Branch. And the notion of Dan/Brad being the "lone wolves" to bet on Jahmyr gives me tons of hope for the draft. These guys know what they're doing.

This party is at Brad's house, He's going to make a splash and trade up to the teens and grab a big boy from 'Bama (Latham or Turner). I believe the other player everyone else wanted was Michael Mayer, He was picked next after LaPorta.
