I don’t understand people getting upset about contract numbers when they have no idea how the contracts or the salary cap works, the average yearly salary is like 10% of the story and they don’t care to see the whole picture but get mad anyway

They just see a big number and go 😡. When you break down the actual cap hits and salary numbers, Holmes is just resetting the market that other teams have to match. He's staying ahead of the salary cap with great drafts and prudent cap management
