Geno is an underrated QB. Swap offensive lines and Hawks could get to the NFCCG. Hawks OL is detrimental to Geno. He needs some time. Geno does well with that sieve.

Stafford was doing the same thing to our defense - but as soon as he was put into a position where he had to throw it deeper he either was sacked or he threw out of bounds. I see us doing that same thing against Smith. He can nickel and dime us perhaps but once it get inside the red zone it's a different story. I mean Stafford did his usually nearly perfect performance -- in a losing effort.

If they give up an early score or two to the Seahawks it's all over, Detroit will stop running and put it in Jared goff's hands and that's a problem. If Detroit gets really serious about running the ball they will wear out the defense and Detroit has a great shot to win. Better figure out who's going to cover Metcalf, by that I mean which two guys are going to cover him?

The Lions should be at everyone left on their schedule. The only reason they lost to TB was because the starters didn't play in preseason. Dumbest thing I've ever heard of. They have to be in football shape but they also need playing shape to win and the only way for playing shape early in the season is to play in the preseason.

MNF with the Lions who are amazing, and the Seahawks with a HC that was with the Ravens last year as their DC! He got promoted/hired to the man in charge to a really good Seahawks team!! One thing we can’t do is look at this like we have before. Yes we are at home, but we were at home against the Buccaneers! So everyone has to be playing at the top of their game! I like the injury report for the Seahawks as they are missing some key play makers, but they are similar to the Lions where the next guy up has to be playing at the top to make up for who is missing. This to me should be one of our revenge games this year, let’s hope everyone in Detroit knows that and the fans make it so loud that Geno can’t get a ball hiked without someone false starting!

Now that Branch is doubtful, I believe that it evens the odds a bit. Plus the Seahawks have top 3 pressure rate in the league. Goff doesn’t do well with pressure, as Mike Macdonald did well against Goff last year. I like Woolen vs Williams and Witherspoon vs Brown. The only way I see Detroit winning, is by establishing the run and staying with it. Seahawks 34-23
