with the additions I think AG can hold down the fort on defense, meanwhile the offense needs to step up and take up the slack. we can't be settling for field goals allowing the Packers to "hang around." While everyone is bemoaning the defense problems, they forget that we have one of the best offenses in the league, they just need to show up.

Line guys, they are the ones that are easiest to plug-and-play. To have all the injuries here is best-case scenario for the injury bug. Obviously, a lot of these guys are NOT your Aidens or Davenports, but the system Glenn has set up makes whoever comes in a serviceable asset. Having the DBs back is bigger than this right now and can't wait to see how they do against GB!

It's not good to focus on hate--there's way too much of that! We're looking toward the Super Bowl and the next man up concept has been helping us get there. Well-coached teams like the Lions get the most out of everyone--nobody wants to let down their teammates--and the hard work they continue to put in can overcome much of the talent delta for many positions.

I put some of the blame for injuries on the schedulers! The schedulers have done the Pistons and the Lions bad! The Lions have a short week to play Thanksgiving and then play again on Thursday. Why couldn't the Lions play next Sunday? I guess they'll get their long week next week! The schedule, as far as, the number of games, has been brutal for the Lions!
