I really like the schedule. Next two teams are easier. Indy, then a four day to Thursday against the Bears. Then a full week to next Thursday for Packers, then a 10-days to prep for the Bills. Then 49ers and Vikings to prep for playoffs (hopefully with the bye week, like a late season bye after our early bye week)!!!!

I thought you would have mentioned the new linebacker we got in off the the wire from Miami, he looks really excellent and we picked them up and he should be probably be one of the guys that were going to plug in there for linebacker. I saw you on the on the website for the Denver broncos, the guy in Colorado had you come over and talk some stuff about the team that we already played or about our team and I was surprised how how crappy you talked about our coach and about our team and we got this problem and that problem I don't know what they're going to do. It’s not a shock. Look at the Lions last 25 years of drafting. Count the number of first round defensive backs they selected. This fanbase is literally obsessed with pass rush. They believe something that is most effective on 3rd downs (a single down) can be the whole identity of the team. Quality defensive backs are far more important in that teams pass on all three downs in the league. The rush only matters on the longer passes. The short and underneath needs to be cleaned up by the secondary. I don’t know how hard that is to get. But apparently it was a deeply foreign concept to most. Once they added quality defensive backs, they could lose Hutchinson and the rest of their line and still be competitive. Go back to when the team was trying to win with guys like Suh and co. What do you think would have happened if you lost Suh and had to rely on the Jonte Green types? Yeah. Needless to say-Holmes gets it.

The Lions play Sunday v the Colts, then 4 days later v the Bears on Thanksgiving, then the NFL scheduled them on Thursday night football v the Packers. So no, it's not a regular schedule. On top of that whole bs, they scheduled them on a week 5 bye. Get your facts straight dumbass

lol. The Lions also get 10 days off twice every season no matter what AND your free space is they ALSO request to not travel either before or after that game. Only 2 or 3 times in the last 15 years did they have to play two road games in the 3 weeks around thanksgiving. You don’t want breaks for the team. You want them to be the crown princes of the league who don’t need to ever feel remotely inconvenienced.
