I would have love for them to hire Rex Ryan because he knows defense and his track record shows it and his son is already on the staff but we will see about Shepherd I guess it's a good hire I'm on the wait and see approach!!

Not surprised at all. The Lions hardly go out and look for the best coordinators money can buy. That never been the Lions way but in this situation I ain’t mad at it but I don’t what Kelvin go do because he never done this DC gig before.

Good call its ok now hard part oc I told my friends watch out after Goff signed that deal should have made him earn it and make sure he was right fit. Hooker might have been right choice all along then spend Goffs money on d oh well don't think other teams would sign him now that said hope he proves us wrong next year cause he's our guy.

With the SB window still open the Lions need an experienced DC. Kelvin will just mimic the outdated schemes that AG used. You can't always promote within. The lions will be lucky to make it back to the playoffs.
