Such a beast. remember when he played for my home team Rögle. coming into the league as a 19 year old kid just demolishing men.. best of luck!

When he did the bridge deals, it was to the benefit to the organization, the salary cap wasn’t going up by 10% per year for 4 years. Now that it is, it’s the to benefit of the organization to have long term contracts so that all the cap space won’t be eaten up in the 5-8 years of contract.

Cap will keep rising and both of these players should keep growing. These contracts should age nicely and show huge confidence in homegrown players. Love it!

I'm shocked you don't think Mo is the best in class when I think Mins and Quality of Play and Age Seider's the Man.

Hopefully theses players can stay healthy and produce.

The reason Mo had more assists the first year is because he was on the First Unit Power-play back then. Sucked at it, then moved to the 2nd unit. Literally the only thing he’s not good at.

Different time, different league now. Not a lot of bridge deals for upcoming young superstars. A trend of younger players getting long term deals.

All these comments… smh… Clearly haven’t watch him much. Dude gets the toughest deployments in the ENTIRE LEAGUE BY A MILE. Throws 200+ hits, blocked 200+ shots. Still puts up respectable numbers and has honestly just scratched the surface of his offensive potential. As the D core in Detroit gets better and his deployments become in line with what they should be he will put up 75PTS and be a finalist for the Norris.

Now they have no cap space and still twice as shitty as last season! Most pathetic failure of an organization in all of professional sports for the past decade

couldn't save a dime on either raymond or seider lol yzerman got fleeced 😆

They've got the salary cap space of a team in Cup or Bust mode and the roster of a team that will be out by February. Yzerman with that 600 IQ.

they both came in under the entire fanbase projection. raymond was 8.5, seider was 8.7/9. you have a mental illness. see someone. stay away from children.

I can tell you don't know a whole lot about value in contract signings for top line players. Is the Detroit cap space maxed out currently? Yes. However, the cap is going up and over the next 3 years contracts are going to start coming off the book(Petry, Holl, Copp)in exchange for the rookies like ASP, MBN, Danielson, Cossa, Augustine, Mazur. Those are at elc level which means more money to spend on FAs.

Seider is pretty good, it’s a risk but unlikely it’s an overpay. Also he’s the only good defenceman they have
@ernywillson143Ай бұрын
Overpaid 😂 last season he kinda stepped back n may just turn into a Uwe Kruppe Dman a big talented Dman that was a career #5 Dman & top 4 ONLY on bad teams a #4 career. This guy really looks like Kruppe, if he was a Pronger Jovocop Hatcher he'd be WAYYY further along at 23

It's ok. Not everybody has the ability to rub two brain cells together. Keep practicing and you might get there someday!
@kendarsinАй бұрын
Terrible take. With the wings getting more weapons on offense, hes gonna get less PP time. Its a shame too because hes actually gotten better. He wasnt gonna play over Gost last season though. His defensive instincts are off the charts. I've watched all the guys you've mentioned when they were 23 and Pronger is about the only comparable player at that age. Did you even see what Hatcher and Krupp were doing at 23? Seider didnt even turn 23 til april. Seiders gonna be the best defenseman in the league for years and this deal is gonna look like a steal.
@ernywillson143Ай бұрын
Pronger was a force defensively (Jovo too) with OK offense right out of Jr and were punishing hitters that took over games. Seider is basically a talented big man that's a Uwe Krupp clone
@kendarsinАй бұрын
@@ernywillson143 Yeah. Seider and Pronger were comparable at the same age. Both better defensively. Both needing to get older and grow. The age Pronger had his break out season is this upcoming season for Seider. Jovo is such a terrible comparison. When you bring up early 20s Krupp you lose all credibility and it makes me question if you even watched him back then.
@ernywillson143Ай бұрын
@@kendarsinsober up this guy's nowhere near Pronger lol 😂 Watched Krupp and his game was exactly like Seiders so he's a decent young player that'll never be a physical force or be detrimental to team just a good enough on a bad team to play top 4 kinda guy
