I think of the lions offense as 1 of best in nfl....yes, I agree it has an edge over Vikings offense. I give Vikings defense edge over Detroits though. Going to be a very stressful game to watch lol.

I agree , although their great offense may slide down a notch due to Viking defense, and Viking offense looks to slide up a notch due to the ravaged secondary Vikings will still need to reduce the effectiveness of Det's rum game and create pressure on Goff( maybe not sack but have to pressure him- otherwise he's able to pick apart defenses) Detroit's defense won't have the advantage of Purdy throwing bad balls, ie 2 bad picks switched momentum to Det. Can they play good enough defense to slow the Vikings pass game

Vikings fan here. My prediction is one of the first plays will be dropping a bomb to Williams hoping for a long early touchdown. I'm a little worried about our cb's. But we're also gonna do the same thing to them so I'm excited for this game.

Also wear n tear is reduced by not playing due to bye Than there is a higher % you only have to face one of the other power teams ( Min/Det, Phi, GB)....ie if seeding works and #1 seed faces say Was#6. 5th seed plays winner of GB / Phi to advance to face the 1st seed Can work out # 5th seed plays 1st seed in 2nd rd, smaller odds? No easy playoff games, any team can win ....just that there are a limited number of teams built for the long haul

Lion's have scored over 100 points more than the Vikings and have given up only 30 more than the Vikings on defense. If the Lions play clean I would not bet against them.

Blowing out sub par teams is not a good measurement to go by. they just gave up 34pts to a banged up 49ers offense vikings have a better offense then 49ers. if the vikings use all there weapons detroit not stopping them.

Only a fool would disregard the Lions' offense. They have four 1000 yard players this year and Jameson Williams is right on the edge of making five. They're insanely dangerous, and more to the point, they handled our defense EXTREMELY capably in Week 7. We absolutely have to deploy a better plan to slow them down this time because I'm not sure we can outshoot them, even considering how destroyed their defense is. Our offense is damned good, but we've only put up 40 points once this year, and they do that in their sleep.

What game was this guy watching? Definitely not the buffalo vs detroit game the rest of the country watched because the bills jumped out to a 14-0 lead 21-14 going into halftime. By the end of the 3rd quarter everything else was garbage time. Man it'll be nice to quiet the pompous lions fans. All high and mighty because they finally put together back to back good season. 👏

Everyone is calling for a high-scoring game. I'd guess the O/U will be the highest of any game this season. I think I'll wait til Sunday but I'm taking the under. Both of the defenses are going to show up as much as possible. I'm calling for 24-21 or 24-23 type of game.
