Grew up fishing St Clair and the river plus a lot of inland lakes, wouldn't believe how many people we watched at night go flying into the flats full throttle with big assed boats and bury themselves in the 2 ft deep muck. The walleye fishing was a big favorite cause it's one of the finest tasting fish there is.

Been there done that. Atleast you had a coastguard hull. For everyone who see this. If you are in this situation start the boat and put it on plane. This will suck the water out. If two are present one replace the plug while one drives.

I had some issues out on the river today. big motor wouldn't start. Had to trolling motor it up about 20 minute on 10. thank god she got us back safe,

It’s a river. I use socks all the time in the lake. But big river current is little different. On some drifts it could work tho… depending on wind direction.
