The second part of the 2016 Havanah St with yellow letters is actually 2024 Havanah ST.

Jesus, those 2015 videos were horrifying. Don't we all wonder what those dead neighborhoods looked like in their prime? Kids playing out front. Riding their bikes. Trick or treating on Halloween. Fast forward several decades to that horror. Great video BTW. I love these before and after videos. Detroit fascinates me with what it's gone through. Its nice to see the blight being removed and the fantastic changes to downtown.

Noticeable improvements, well done! Honestly they still look distressed, but that's a long way from the post-apocalyptic hellscape of a few years ago. Someone did a lot of work and should be proud. .

I'm from another country (Switzerland), and I'm actually aware of this. We also know about the homelessness in California, the fentanyl crisis, inflation issues, etc. Here, the US isn't seen as an especially wealthy country. Of course, there are some really rich entrepreneurs, and the US is huge and powerful, but the average Joe is perceived as living precariously by Western standards. Just to give you a picture of how most people here see the US-it's far from the idea of milk and honey flowing there.
