It would be interesting to hear the story of how you two met. Thanks for the video of London. I used to dream of visiting, but that is fading away. I have noticed that there are many British people coming to the U.S. for the past couple of years and I don't blame them. As long as people try and stay out of the big cities, it is better.

I live in Edmonton and have lived in Tottenham. These are areas which some may consider has a high level of crime. Let me tell you that London is safe. It is only unsafe if you are part of a gang, because gang members don't usually attack randomly, but only those who they would consider their enemies. As long as you keep yourself to yourself and don't carelessly display your wealth then you won't have any problems in London, even in the more deprived parts of the city.

I moved to London almost exactly 10 years ago and really loved it at first. But for my 10th anniversary I'm moving back to my country, where I don't have to hide in some doorway just to pick up my phone when I'm outside... It's really sad what is happening here. My friends visited recently after about 8 years (they used to live here) and were literally shocked. And sadly, being immigrant myself here, I have to admit that one of the main reasons this city is so bad now is excessive immigration.

I’m half Polish half American born and raised in Australia. Moved to London in 2018 but the rapid deterioration of the city ( and entire country) became unbearable and depressing. Decided to move to Poland March this year and loving it. Clean, safe cities, well dressed people, fantastic infrastructure, strong nationalistic spirit, and hatred for illegal or mass immigration. If you want to live here, you have to be useful (means work), integrate, and respect the country’s values and culture. If you don’t, the Poles will make you don’t feel welcome - no such a thing as political correctness here.

Billionaires need to integrate instead of living in different countries whilst taking from state finances and not giving back enough. I've read the same bullshit of blaming immigration for societies woes in newspapers from every decade in the past 150 years, it's nothing new. Look it up. When will you people learn that the system is the problem. The US is a nation of immigrants, made by mass immigration. And those first immigrants committed genocide. Now it's the descendents of these people, the imperialists, who are causing most of the world's problems. They are causing a perpetual refugee crisis. You're blaming the wrong things and all the while the extreme capitalist exploiters are getting away with destroying the planet and affecting billions of people's lives. You're a useful idiot to the imperialist agenda and you need to realise it and join the people actually trying to make a positive change, instead of blaming 'immigrants'.

I lived in Japan for 5 years in Kyoto city as a University student. l visited Yokohama, Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima, Shiga, Nara, Kobe, and Fukuoka over the years. The cleanliness, rare crime, and high fresh air quality made me realise other western countries are proportionately lagging behind. I went to South Korea but it also proved to be better. Japan is still intact thanks to their very strict immigration control. I don't understand why western leaders watched their countries wreck without intervention. The damage is getting gradually out of control and irreversible.

I was in London last month - made the mistake of trying to walk from Paddington station to Oxford Circus because the weather was nice and I didn't fancy the Tube. Going down Edgware Road was like entering Cairo or Khartoum, but the worst of it was a member of a certain religion had set up a stall and was blasting out at full volume on speakers a looped tape of an angry voice in heavily-accented English yelling about the triumph of a certain religion and the death of all those who refuse to submit to it. Not one plod in sight. It was then that I realise it's over for the UK, red rover.

I just spend a month in the UK, most of it in London, and I love the place, always have. This was my tenth visit since 1991 and I always have a great time. Sure there are beggars and homeless, but I see the same thing in New York, Portland and my hometown of Seattle. London was no better or worse. And the overt racism about immigrants and foreigners both in the video and the comments is pretty obvious. You guys must love Trump. It's a MAGA world now, isn't it? I was in London in the early 1990s. The city felt safe. I could walk around comfortably even at 3 am. Being a person of colour I stood out a bit but no one treated me badly. I did meet a Black Cockney guy who worked at our hotel and he was so happy to see an American that was not White. 😄 I used to dream of retirement in the UK because I loved it so much. Now, there is no way that I would ever consider going back. The more images I see it frightens me what is happening there. That is definitely not the England I visited. Saddest thing is this is the same thing happening here in the USA. And it all seems to be planned for control and dominance over the original inhabitants. Prayers for Europe and the USA. 🙏

I was in London 2 years ago. I was in a taxi going through the poshest area when we were hit with that horrible feces smell. The cab driver said, “Sorry for the smell.” I replied, “Well, I guess rich people’s shit really does stink.” Seriously, the sewer system throughout England was smelly and sluggish. I used to live in Marylebone and moved to the country 20 years ago. I visited earlier this year for a day. It was nowhere near as busy. Beggars and homeless everywhere. No buzz and so much more expensive it felt punishing. I blame the current Mayor, who is useless and the work from home culture since Covid. But also the mass of homeless who are not from the UK and crime at street level is out of control. London today is an expensive dangerous dump. I wont be back

@@FlecheDeFer Really is there any problems which cannot be blamed on Brexit. So of course the actions taken by the government allegedly because of the alleged pandemic like lock down which helped to destroy the economy has nothing to do with the decline of the UK, nor has the pushing of woke agendas (aka Cultural Marxism) helped destroy the UK by letting people act the victim (blaming other politically acceptable groups like white people not those with charitable foundations like bill gates and George Soros though) rather than taking any responsibility in their life or by the promotion of depravity because you have to live in 'your truth (lie)' and everything is allegedly a social construct so apparently there is no such thing as evil so 'do as thou wilt' should be the whole of the law . Also pushing for net zero based on at best questionable science and at worst biased and floored computer models which cripples industry has nothing to do with the decline. I suppose actions by the banking elites which has increased our national debt when we had to bale them out with money we comedically borrow from another bank has nothing to do with the UK decline. It is all the result of Brexit even though EU countries are having similar problems this is all due to Brexit.

Just returned from my annual visit to London (where I was raised). Too crowded, dirty, and noisy. Rarely heard English spoken by an English person. I think most of the native English have left the city. Less hectic in Paris with less shoppers noted. These once iconic cities have become less English and French and the result is not appealing or attractive anymore. Dublin is, of course, another star in the pantheon of diversity (visited this past Sept). Hoping British and French people begin to demand more form their ghastly politicians...closing borders would be step one!!

@@David-r8q9l Pardon, but it's not racist or xenophobic to be unhappy that our capital city is only 35% White British (for reference, it was around 85% in the 80s.) It's our CAPITAL. Imagine if that happened to Tokyo. Imagine if Tokyo was only 35% native Japanese people and they were told "shut up and enjoy your diversity!" - that wouldn't happen. And that's not to even mention the constant threat of terrorism, and how dramatically that's changed the atmosphere in our cities, and of course people resent Khan for his comments about that. But now, the native population will never have a vote in London anyway, because they are so dramatically outnumbered by families who've only been here for one or two generations, and quite frankly, shouldn't have anywhere near as much of a say. Guess what % the Tory vote was in the last mayoral election btw? 35%. It's a sad state of affairs, we will never have our capital back, it will never be anything more than a commercial, transitory place for people to flock to and treat like a fast food buffet. And to make matters worse, it's not even remotely safe. No-one is more emblematic of that change than Khan. Try to understand people's actual concerns instead of just calling everyone racist who disagrees with you.

I lived in various parts of London from 1977 to 2017. In 2018 and 2019, I used to visit weekly to do a radio show. The journey from my home in East Anglia used to take 1 Hr 40 mins to the studio in South London. Since the Mayor's insane "traffic planning" and 20 mph zones everywhere, the same journey takes over 4 hours. The last time I visited London was over three years ago, and with remote access to our main studio, I no longer need to go there at all, fortunately. All my friends (with just one exception) who lived in London have left now, and several have even moved to other countries. The city is no longer habitable for white, middle-class English people like me. It's a sad situation and worsens by the day. Other British cities are being destroyed in the same ways - by mass immigration, Islamification, corruption, crime and greed. The UK is close to finished, and I am making plans for emigration (despite my advanced age). Fortunately, I have the finance to be able to do this. I was a 22 years old Brazilian and it was the first time that I could see what a civilized, developed, vibrant, cultural, global city was. It made a mark on my life. Since that, I always dreamed of moving there to live the rest of my days and give my kids a better life. I cannot believe what I saw in this video. It's just so sad that this is happening to London. And I fully believe what people are saying. That this is caused by migrating population and the government that shelters it. Believe me, I live in a country made of these kinds of people.

As an American, I want to sincerely apologize for my country infecting the rest of the Western world with its stupid notions of race and "decolonization," which have unfortunately seeped into the immigration policies and attitudes of trans-Atlantic elites. Harvard and Yale literally tell its students - of all backgrounds - that it's essentially a sin to be of European descent and that we need to "decolonize" everything to rectify the sins of the past. The problem is though, how do you "decolonize" cities such as London and Berlin?

I saved up for ten years to visit London for two weeks. But instead of seeing British poeple and men in bowler hats, I saw so many Muslims in headgear that I thought I was in Afghanistan. Whatever England used to be, it no longer is. I will never be returning. Sadly, the same thing is happening in New York City, where I visited last year. The entire Roosevelt Hotel was filled to overflowing with illegal immigrants, and now they're looking for 14,000 more hotel rooms to put them in at taxpayers expense. So they just destroyed America's greatest city, as well. Say goodbye to everything you once knew.

It started under Thatcher, de- industrialisation and the selling off of social housing. It accelerated under Blair with the dumbing down of educational standards and the opening of the borders to eastern european and commonwealth cheap labour. Now every white british idiot child can have a university indoctrination and get a job in HR departments to make sure all the immigrants are safe and woke. We used to make things in this country, we had pride in what we made, we could afford to buy what we made, the immigrants then integrated and joined in with us, not anymore. The fault lies with the ordinary british voter who kept voting tory then labour then tory then labour without understanding that what was being said was totally at odds with what was going on around them.

Not saying this in any disrespectful way, but to say you're not worried about safety, just "hyper-aware" of your surroundings is, to my thinking, the very definition of worried. It's the random nonsense that makes the UK unpleasant. I noticed this living in Southampton, especially seeing the diversity barriers go up on the high street and the seeing the population change to be more islamic and African. You would walk around always aware of your surroundings and more and more paranoid about your personal safety/leaving belongings... Having to work with lazy Somalis etc praying in the office.... I had to leave... Now living in East Asia and much happier. Who wants to live with this kind of stress? Also the grey skies in the UK keep everyone perpetually miserable. Don't let this dissuade you from visiting this wonderful city. I went to the UK this summer, spent about 8 days in London and it was a great visit. Our hotel very close to all these locations and we walked on these exact streets. The only bad smells we came across was in Hyde Park (fresh horse poop that had been run over). There were a lot of the Romani gypsys begging and had tents in grassy medians and on the edges of parks, but we never saw any on the sidewalks. The phone snatching thing is a real issue and we did see those masked villains on ebikes and scooters. You have to be very aware how and when you use your phone. I would go for walks on my own (female in my 60s) at night, on busy street and walk along the Thames, never hassled (wanted to soak as much in.) The parks and museums are wonderful and free. Food is was cheaper than my last visit to NYC or Boston, and the quality and variety of cuisines is vast. Visited several other areas in the UK, the other two I really enjoyed were Cornwall and my new favorite place on the planet Scotland. Wow what a beautiful country. The Scots are extra lovely people. Only spent 5 day in Scotland - Glasgow, Edinburgh, the Highlands (on walks) looking to go back for much longer and really explore.

Same can regrettably said about New York City. We lived/worked in Manhattan when Giuliani and Bloomberg were each mayor. It was an enjoyable, clean and relatively safe city back then. Never imagined it would deteriorate as it has and so quickly, all of which began with Democrat and Communist leaning De Blasio as mayor.
