Dairy farms have settling ponds to catch the waste from dairy cows and pump water of them after . can it be done from storm water

I don't think there is an alternative. In Poland, they put tons of salt mixed with sand on the roads because if they won't, we would have a Road Armageddon. I know the environment suffers because of salt, but still, it's better than thousands of accident victims and monetary losses going in millions because of belated transports, road blocks, destruction of property in the accidents etc

Landscapers over mulching trees in summer are being increasingly hired to over salt our commercial districts and residential neighborhoods driveways and sidewalks. Solution? Municipalities and Highway authorities equipment disperses rock salt using metered amounts. Private snow removal contractors commonly abusing inexpensive salt products most times dispersing granules by hand rather than dialing in perfect amount using Salt spreading equipment. Require state salt application certification just like required for potentially polluting pesticides.

We pay a carbon tax here in canada to supposedly fix the environment. Should we quit using road salt in the winter trudeau????? I think it would save the lakes and rivers and the money it would save
