Hunt where you can. Yea them big cans hit @95 and above right where quarter ends Bottle caps hit there too. once in a while. At least you got out of the house and was doing what you like. Thanks for sharing.

@@zzzzzzzzzzaper I'll have to get used to the deus 2, I see the numbers change in mono depending on the frequency, I should stick to a certain frequency and try to get an idea of what the numbers are, the tones are different too, I wonder if bottlecaps will still sound grindy like with the deus 1 HF coil

@@digginggopher Grindy noise,,, There is just a small tone of iron as you come off the target on a bottle cap, that tosses you in the trick bag with the big cans.and why they sound so sweet. TO OVERCOME THIS , I drop sens. to 20 or 18. I still get the sweet tone on the big cans but the numbers help you there why I know that anything over 95 good possibility of it being a can or bottlecap they hit there. Did you try my foil test with the dime,penny, nickle. I wanted you to see what foil does there. I noticed you digging the foil a bit there too . Yep that is a good thing to get rid of that stuff it masks a large area. AS FOR THE GROUND BALANCE, I hardly ground balance. as in never have. And you have heard my soil..... lol. The auto ground tracking works on my set up I read the numbers also I know what my soil reads from other machines 87 to 88 is good enough on G/B. In my soil. The Deus 1 to overcome this they put the penny signals and dime and quarter all close together 88 to 94 plus it will make a pop or bark type tone over a round target like a coin.... The Deus 2 will bark and pop just like the 1 does. just not as much static. Again that foil test did you notice it also added onto the numbers too..... lol there is a lot in that test if you look at all angles and you are ate up with it like me hahahaha!

Do that foil test on the floor with both DEUS 1 and 2 compare the numbers then toss a quarter in also. With this test you can get the numbers you need to dig. U.S. coins it will be your research that will get you your numbers for Canada by tossing your coins in the mix with the foil and compare ...Savvy? You will find in most instances that piece of foil is going to be in the mix somehow in actual digs because that right there is the biggest amount of trash signals you get biggest polluter in the ground. It masks changes the numbers of targets gives false signals etc.. AND it deterates to nothing so you dig the nothing there targets...... Why I suggest this test over any others.
