+coolcat001100 Not only that, the Hyron project proved unhealthy for the drones that operated the system. After a certain amount of time, they had to be switched due to the nerve system of the drones wearing down and burning away.

I just finally finished the game about a week ago. Yea that Hyron Project was twisted. I played the Director's Cut edition, and got to see the gory spinal augmentation, and the one suffering patient that had just had her transplant (I mercy killed her). Also seeing those emails in Panchaea with the " I feel cold, I want my mommy, and I'm scared" in the signatures, I was like "what the heck is that all about???"

I used the heavy rifle with the anti cool down mod. I felt bad. But I laid into the Hyron on full auto. About two it three clips in, those girls suffering was ended. For those who don't know it's about 200 rounds? Correct me if I'm wrong. I used the same gun to save Malik ironically

Yep. No need to use Darrow's codes or fight against Hyron's defenses. Tried first 'conventional approach' (ie. guns blazing) but got only shredded so i decided to follow game's premise and go for sneaky alternative approach instead. And it worked like a charm.

What fight? All i needed to do was to lift teh gun and fire a clip from mah lazor through the barrier directly at Zhao. No consoles, no drones, not bots or crazed guards...

The end would have been better if choices you made during game play dictated the ending, the endingmatronic 2000 button pressing was lame as hell.

on the contrary i appreciate that the game provides you with information throughout and allows you to decide at that moment, the crucial moment, which outcome you believe to be the correct cause. there's not an objectively good or bad ending, theyre all morally grey and can be interpreted in different ways. for instance players may go into the game agreeing with sarif and siding with him for the majority but be swayed by hugh darrow at the end of the game, if they were locked into a pro-augmentation ending due to earlier decisions then it wouldve been pretty shitty

@@CommodoreMudkip Life doesn't work like that, we often end up being stuck with choices we made for good or bad. Deus Ex is a human story, more than just "augs good, augs bad" and Jensen did significant things. People died, other people got saved and many other impactful decisions, you cant just erase that with a button push and "I changed my mind".

It sort of did... like if you murder a whole lot of fools and act like a cold, dispassionate arsehole demanding a reward for simply sticking your neck out, you'll get an 'evil' version of whatever choice you picked. There was basically three tiers of ending. Good, neutral and evil ... An don't ask me how you got neutral endings. I tried and failed ... I'm sure you can get it, but I don't know how. If you're doing a Pacifist and Foxiest of the Hounds run, you'll pretty much get the good ending assuming you aren't the biggest douchebag in every dialogue sequence. You could get either three with any of your four ending choices.

all deus ex games (at least before hr) were like that. in deus ex 1, you just followed different orders in the final chapter. in invisible war, you just picked who to send the data to or listened to leo/omar and killed everyone instead. or flushed the flag down the toilet. pretty much, previous games were not that much more complex in terms of achieving the ending

This Song is pretty sad. No matter what you do, Deus Ex will happen, society will move toward the brink of collapse, Jc Denton depending on your P.O.V. Will become a Villain, Invisible war is still a game. This song captures the feel perfectly. On the augmentation debate: i say pro, what? you can Jump higher than a bus,lift a soda machine, Punch people you dont like, and Fire missiles out of your armpit. What's not to Like?
