Deus Ex: UNATCO - Remastered / Remix - tenChux

I had quite a bit of trouble deciding on the song for this week. I wanted to do a subscriber requested song. I was looking at songs from Landstalker and Turok 2 among others...but along the way stumbled into the original UNATCO tune and my mind was made up on the spot.
I took a lot of liberties with this song in order to lengthen it and prevent excess repetition. The original didn't have nearly as much going on and no orchestral parts to it.
I'm an absolute sucker for synth/orchestral mixes. Easily my favorite genre of music to make. I also want to have the best quality music on my channel, especially since the redesign. That makes deciding on songs harder since I have to feel I can produce something good out of the melody.
I hope I did that with this song.

I love this mix. It captures the theme brilliantly. I still get goose bumps thinking of the hours I wasted on Deus Ex! Human Revolution is awesome too.

I chose not to call this (nor the vast majority of my songs) as remix because it doesn't have enough originality to be one. I opt for the "remastered" title because my songs tend to follow very close to the original and a "remastering" is defined as a NEW recording designed improve the sound quality from the original. That said, I can understand how most people would call my music remixes. I've thought about changing their names from Remastered to Remixed in the past. Shame you didn't enjoy.

This remix was not to my liking, title led me to believe this was the original remastered.
