"Deus Irae" (God of Wrath) is a 1976 post-apocalyptic novel by Philip K Dick and Roger Zelazny and this trailer looks almost but not quite nothing at all like it.

You know that when Hollywood adapts a nouvelle, the results are criminally bad. It has nothing to do with the name.

@@christopherneufelt8971 This doesn't look to be a Hollywood movie though... That said Philip K Dick called the book Deus Irae as a play on "Dies Irae" which means "Days of Wrath" and there are a bunch of classical musical pieces called Dies Irae, it's a "thing" in the Church. This movie is just doing the same pretty obvious play on the term Dies Irae, I wasn't actually accusing it of being a bad version of the novel.

@@gospelofrye6881 I get it. Anyway, Hollywood has a long tradition of destroying Science Fiction and abusing titles. I don't want to know what the Artificial Intelligence story has to say about, since next year there will be professional commercial AI Software for Filming Production and eventually stories will be misinterpreted much more.

It's not based on the novel it's actually based on a short film released 11 years ago on KZbin quite good and creepy you can still watch it Deus Irae God of Wrath short film
