I love those 5 spokes! I have a set on my MK6 Jetta Sedan after I ruined two wheels and tires with a pot hole last summer. The look works one these cars.

Unfortunately having overkill brakes on gravel won’t help you stop faster. Stock is plenty for slippy gravel , id concentrate more on suspension travel and durability over anything else. Suspension durability is often overlooked , rally will destroy stock suspension components quickly.

Seems like the Golf VII has a snap ring on the axle like some older C4 and Typ44, or they don't lubricate the teeths anymore from factory. Because if they don't they slide out really easy. At least at the Audis I workd on, 300.000+ km and before 2000.

That's a salvage car they purchased this as a project car. Seems you don't know anything about the car's history hahahaha. It was sold as is and the car was total wreck, it's a 2017 car so yeah it's almost a brand new. I guess you skipped the day it was delivered to them, you should watch that before you comment here :P
