Some thoughts I had during the video: - would love to see more breed and different variations! make the draft horse big and bulky, Spanish horses with curved noses, dressage horses are big and agile, western horses medium sized with big, developed hindquarters etc. - it would be easier if you were able to pick a leg, then drag the marking up or down, this will let people customize their own horse to a much bigger degree. -marketplace between players where you sell and buy horses - I’m a very big fan of how the sims are able to make randomized characters and are able to take a characteristic from each parent and put it into the offspring, this would be amazing if you were able to breed horses and every time you would get an unique horse that no one else has! This will allow you to not be totally dependent on stats when you’re breeding (that was going to be a feature, right?) and selling. Good for new players who are trying to make some money -more muscle definition when you’re horse is getting more and better trained, different things get better defined depending on what you’re training. For an example, more neck, back and shoulder for dressage, hindquarters for jumping etc.

I like the trader, in other games one can only see photos of the horses that are available xD The scouting-feature is interesting, but will the player at least know the gender without having to scout?

Could we choose some quirks to your horse? Like to make it less like a machine but more like a animal? By that I mean like "lazy", "loyal", "scared of tractors/cars" etc. ? Edit: AH OMG I JUST SAW THAT YOU HAVE PUT IT INTO THE GAME!! STAR STABLE IS QUAKING! (But it would've been really fun if you added like "scared of tractors" or other quirky stuff

@@nicole187 OMG same, it seems that they never think about what the players ask for. they just go around dooing whatever they want, and they like try as hard as possible to make the game cutesy and aesthetically pleasing, instead of trying to actually making an interresting game with focus on the gameplay

I’m totally playing this!!!!! I ride western irl and do a lot of trail riding and might try western dressage so I’m happy theres so much realism and options! also making a horse will be so impossible, I’m probably gonna have to get a real horse first so I can make my equestrian game horse identical to my irl horse lol!

Love how this looks so far! One can tell how much effort you put into even little details, it's amazing! One tiny thing I noticed though: there is a spelling error in the traits. It says sensetive instead of sensitive. 😅

I absolutely love this!!! I’ve been following the teams progress for a while now and I absolutely love the effort you guys make!! I just got a small idea now for how to make the trading system a little bit more realistic feeling and not as much virtual feeling...if you give the horses, in stead of the horse standing there, a professional horse sales photo with its pedigree and all it would be cool, I don’t know if you guys have done research on professional horse trading systems but if the horse is fancy it has a fancy photo and profile🤷🏼‍♀️

I feel like mustangs and brumbies would be hard to implement because they're mixes of domesticated breeds and don't really have a breed standard like the other breeds do. Like a mustang can look like anything, but if you look at an Arab you know it's an Arab.

@@duskexx1742 the spanish mustang and the kiger mustang both have breed requirements. I dont know about Australian breeds but those mustang breeds do indeed have requirements.

For dressage, can u animate the horses to be on the bit pls? It makes it look a lot more realistic... 😅😄😍 Also, try to get the horse's leg go higher in the trot while doing dressage. Hope I'm not asking for too much! Anyways the game is turning out great so far! 😁😍😎🐴🐎

I wish there were Horse Isle 3 type mechanics in Equestrian. And by that I mean very complex breeding and genetics. For example, you catch a wild horse, it's really pretty and turns out it has alot of arabian in its genetics. If you have purebred arabians already and you keep breeding it to them, you will eventually get another purebred arabian with patterns similar to the wild caught. Or, another mechanic is how the structure of the horse causes the stride length to be shorter which impacts their stamina, or the jump power. Another thing they have which I love is the fact that no 2 horses are ever exactly the same. The patterns are always different, and unless you're comparing purebreds, proportions really vary. Not trying to advertise the game, but I just started playing it and I can't wait to breed the purebred thoroughbreds I bought haha

Will there be an animation for the horses moving their tail? Like swinging it around during an idle animation, in terms of getting rid of flies etc.? It'd be such a tiny detail, but in my opinion it would add a lot to the realistic feeling the game already seems to have.

Seeing that the age of the horses seems to play a role, I wonder if the horses live forever in this game? Or will sth. happen if they reach a certain age, like can they actually die or can you just not ride them anymore when they get too old to be ridden?

Can you breed horses together? Will you be able to ride western? Can you choose your characters hair color and style? Will you be able to compete in shows? Can you do crosscountry? For paint horses will you be able to choose the leg and face markings? When will the game be realised?
