GBU 39 won’t be nearly as effective on the A10 because of it’s lower speed and generally everyone using it stays low altitude, but I’d still like to see it on other jets which carried it irl

Su35 has a mechanical drive to steer the antenna and then because its PESA, it can reach even beyond 90° degrees to the side. Irbis radar is going to be the best one available to a fighter. Not mentioning the AESA technology, but Irbis should a perfection at PESA radar technology.

@@yujinhikita5611 The eurofighter we are going to get is going to get a PD radar because they still haven't gotten AESA in european service, only in like Oman and the UAE they have eurofighters with AESA. And the PD radar is kinda bad, it can only use half the meteors range and the tech documents compare it to the really bad N001 radar on the SU-27.

My buddy was right, they were never going to model AESA properly. AESA isn’t a left to right scan it’s literally multiple simultaneous scans in different directions. Gaijin is so full of it sometimes marketing AESA on a premium and then dishing something like this out

The UPAB bombs actually glide. No, they're not glide bombs in the truest sense. But they do glide a bit, allowing for some extended range. I havent been able to test the full extent of how far due to work getting in the way, but ill be interested to know how far i can fling them especially at lower altitudes.

The skin in the Indian Osa is pretty standard actually. If you look at the camo for Indian army vehicles, the colors are quite vibrant.

On both vehicles it dont give you any advantage. Cool, you can maintain lock 100km far away, whats next you gonna do with it? You have something what can hit AA targets that far away? Nope. The only thing is speed of passing sectors, which still dont give you THAT much of advantage compared to others. In F-15, F-16 you can just make your sector less wide and have quick updates

PESA and AESA radars should have this scan bar going from one side to the other? I mean, they are radars that use several sensors to deflect and focus the radio beams, right? So they shouldn't be going from one side to the other, in theory it should just be a screen where the targets appear in basically real time, and it should also be possible to lock on to more than one target at the same time, or am I wrong?

PESA is an inbetween, AESA however should have instant scanning because there’s hundreds of tiny little radars scanning different areas constantly. AESA is very unfinished currently
