Trust me Depth in sets or location and lighting is very important, people might say katha baagunte avanni evaru chudaru ani, kaani scenes ni highlight chesedi eve, just imagine baahubali 2 lo kattappa baahubali ni champe scene lo, lighting and sets depth entha untado, ade scene lo lighting cheda dhobbite motham scene gudusipothadi, just like in the movie padi padi leche manasu, aa crucial interval scene lo green mat esaru background ki, adi chaala emotional scene motham gudisipoindi, so background, sets, lighting are very very important

Do you remember the Khaleja interval fight scene? Clearly it was shot in an indoor set and that's visible in every frame but because the scene is so intense and Mahesh acting is topnotch, we overlook the technical issues

@@amoghk3100 but without watching full movie we can't judge...and the examples you took are good , but I don't think devara team is that dumb in these things ..they would have taken care about these things obviously..and they used real locations and so many sets also..and I personally liked many things in trailer ..and there are few issues..that doesn't mean it's bad

not comparing but what Salaar team nailed to do Devara didn't do it . Khansaar lo ye shot kooda naku set piece la anipinchale prathidi real location la anipinchindi the lighting , the depth of background . Devara trailer lo majority of the shots felt like set piece scenes . mostly night shots have bad lighting . moon light ni antha bright ga choopinchalsina avasaram le . night light ni nail chesindi Jakkanne . Magadheera ,Bahubali , RRR lo night scenes are clear examples they don't feel that fake . they could still manage with colour grading with many night scenes . there is till time so they need to do all the correction as much as they can . Cause theatre ki poyaka nen involve avvali ante mainly 3 things will help one the sound effects of the waves , the more involving motion cinematography , the colour grading these 3 things will immediately take you into the world . that's What made us involve in Bahubali the beginning immediately in the first few seconds itself

If you pause and see every frame ..I can show you mistakes in avatar also..or any movie..frame by frame if you cut and do vfx..it will release only after 10 years..

I’m an NTR fan. I liked your analysis brother. Both of you definitely were reasonable in pointing the pit falls of the technical details in the trailer. Good job in voicing out your opinion reasonably well. There are many dimensions to a movie, for it to be liked or become a cult. Let me chalk down the important ones in the order mentioned IMO: 1. Story and its characters emotional graph. Main characters emotional graph must start and end well. Continuity in the story line. 2. Main characters` performance 3. Right kind of Music 4. Proper lighting and excellent depth factor in all the scenes, or main scenes at the least. 5. CG & VFX I’m OK with sub par CG & VFX but not so much for the rest of the items. HOPEFULLY… DEVARA will satisfy both the FAN & MOVIE LOVER in me when I watch it on IMAX screen on 9/26. 🤞
