Its not about tamil ppl not see other language movies. Its only about content and lip sync. Tamil ppl having a habit of observing the lip sync over languages. If you notice, the other language movies which having good screenplay and apt dialogues for the lip sync, it had good collection in TN. Not only because of tamil movememt, legends like msv, ilayaraja, k. B, sridhar, bharathi raja, mani ratnam, kamalhassan, rajini, manivannan etc feeds tamil audience with good music, content and also elevated technical aspects so it makes ppl not to go for other languages much. A good product doesn't have language barrier.why Aayirathil oruvan was not hit at that time means you doesn't know the pandya and chola dynasty you can see only as movie but in TN everyone knows the history so we had questions and controversies over it .

One more thing we dont oppose hindi language but imposing hindi as national language.....urdu used to be telangana language as nijams forced it....after independence we brought telugu back to telangana.....same for tamil.....Tamil has to be number one in Tamilnadu....just Telugu has to be number one in Telangana.....we are not against other languages.....but they cannot force languages....
