….. you can tell he is back on substances here and it’s so sad. Also if he truly did love his wife he wouldn’t have been so eager to move on… also the fact she hand picked his gf makes it seem like she was testing him to see how much he did love her if he was willing to just move on. I wish the best for him and hope he gets sober and stays sober especially for his children’s sake. I know he says he has a great relationship with his kids but they obviously know what’s going on and it’s not fair to them at all.

A person doesn't find their reason to live in others. You don't clean up your act for others you do it because it is needed for yourself. You can't give what you don't have for yourself. My ex used to say you ground me and keep me centered--you keep me from getting out of control. That is a burden a spouse is not meant to carry. Accept responsibility for yourself. She should just stay away from him as a spouse.
