Less than a week after suffering a massive stroke, “Beverly Hills, 90210” and “Riverdale” actor Luke Perry has passed away at age 52.
Now, there are new reports surrounding his final days as his co-stars mourn the loss of the celebrated actor.

I graduated HS in 1993 just like the 90210 characters. Luke Perry was my one of my favorite crushes of my youth. His death today hit me harder than any other celebrity death of my generation. A wise friend pointed out that it's because he is the first to die from 'natural' causes instead of drugs, accidents or suicide. I will be dedicating Thursday as a Luke Perry binge day!

@Chana Bayla He wasn't diagnosed with cancer. They were pre-cancerous polyps he caught during a Colon Cancer screening in 2015. He became an advocate to screen for Colon Cancer regularly. My mom is one of 7 kids and all her siblings except her have had the same kind of Polyps removed and no sign of cancer since. It's all about early detection but he didn't have cancer.

I lost one of my best friends when I was 35 but I always prepared that he would go early since he was so heavy. Even losing a friend just after HS wasn't a shock because it was a drug overdose. He wasn't even someone I knew. I am recovering from major surgery (12 weeks post-op) and have already been emotional and feeling a bit more mortal. Fortunately tomorrow with the beginning of Lent, I go back on Keto and look forward to beginning a new.

I'm 47 years old and I suffered a minor stroke on February, 18. Just a few days before, Luke Perry had his massive stroke. I feel so bad for his family and his world filled to the brim of loved ones! My heart goes out to his children, wife, fiance', and all of those who knew him and worked with him. My wife and I were HUGE 90210 fans back in the 90's! It was one of those must watch once a week kind of date nights for us. We have also watched quite a few of his movies and other tv appearances through the years... Most recently, The Beat Beneath My Feet, about two weeks ago. Luke Perry was certainly a gift to the entertainment industry.... He will be missed dearly!

@cahaps How old are you? 52 is very young to die. Minimum life expectancy for men in the US is 78/79, with many living much older than that. Even looking at the minimum, his life was cut short by more than 25 years! You either live in a country with low life expectancy, or you are a child/ teen to think this. 52 is middle age. 65 is the minimum to be considered old age, but because people are living longer, some now say old age is not met until age 70.

I've been watching these episodes non stop on HULU. I see how Luke Perry loved his privacy on screen and off screen. My heart is so broken. He was my favorite on the show and beyond. As a Tennessee girl, Luke has a very nice Home and Farm not to far from where I grew up in Tennessee and live now and it is gorgeous. He would visit there quite often, and eat at a little resturant called "sisters". Just a small town great guy. When Nashville had the flood in 2010, Luke helped out with volunteers bringing food and water to families who lost most of everything. He was very well known around Nashville but mostly he loved his home and farm land in Vanleer Tennessee. Just 50 miles west of Nashville and a population of about 400. His home there was surrounded by the most gorgeous trees, and land. It sits beautifully on the 400 acres. In Tennessee,..we call places like that "Gods Country". I have not stopped thinking about his death and how hard this has been on myself and everyone in this world. Especially his family and his two children that he soo very much adored. I will never stop watching Luke Perry as Dylan McKay. I've cried so much watching these over and over just as the rest of the world. He is sooo missed and Tennessee is having a hard time as well. Your sprit will forever live at the beautiful home and Farm you left behind here. It's rained alot here in Tennessee since Luke Died... So many tears pouring down on your Home here, as I'm sure it misses your just as much as we all do... Such a wonderful great man gone way too soon. R.I.P Luke... one of a kind,..one of the very very best. :(

This is so scary to hear. I had a small stroke a few years back, at the age of 32 due to my blood pressure getting out of control. I was told that ppl under the age of 60 just "dont have strokes. It just dosen't happen", by a doctor that came in to see me right before they figured out that I was having one at that very moment. I think alot of ppl dismiss symptoms bc they think they are too young but, believe me, you are never too young to have one. I really hated to hear of Mr. Perry's passing. He was a wonderful actor and an icon in the 90's and from what I hear, just a super guy.

Tomorrow will be four years since we lost Luke Perry. I watched his autopsy today. Dr. Michael Hunter said he had atherosclerosis narrowing of his arties from high cholesterol. His father had it too so he inherited it. His Dad also died an untimely death. He died from a heart attack when he was only 35 years old. The part that shocked me was Luke's deep forehead lines even when he was young was a sign he already had atherosclerosis which led to his violent stroke. Heart Breaking ❤️
