Years ago, Floyd did considerable damage to our water system, & particularly, outlying communities like Clyde & Canton, but I NEVER thought the Biltmore or River Arts areas would be subject to damage like this!! The Pigeon & French Broad Rivers have both exceeded records set over a hundred years ago (the Pigeon by well over a foot)!! Truly humbling!!

Vice President Harris has left her campaign early to attend FEMA as they coordinate the response to this disaster. Former Presidemt Trump went to Georgia as he saw the damage as well today. Both are ofcourse hoping for a good recovry now with 2 million Americans without electric power. Raising awareness of what FEMA does, a good thing.
