the thing is, the buyer always got greedy and went for $5 or $20 website over the person who is developing really good websites for $100. When that $100 person don't get a client, he's bound to work for less money and client always expect the same quality. It's these worse and rookie developers (I won't consider them developers though), who are disrupting a good developers' hourly work price range on freelancing platforms. We have to compete with these junks all day. SIMPLE SOLUTION - If you are a bad developer or designer, don't take work for even $5. Go learn first and then provide quality work for a higher price, so that your work will be appreciated.

13:09 looks suspiciously like a free template they found and swapped out the content seeing as the Read More link takes you to contact and there are links that don't point anywhere.

For five dollars the first one was already good enough as far as I'm concerned. If you provide good services this cheap, you just make webdesign a cheap profession

This is my first contact with your channel. Do you talk about the way that an American freelance software dev might use such sites as Fiverr to earn a living? For example, I've heard that some people present themselves there as "troubleshooters" offering to repair or maintain sites built by the $5 people who no longer reply to e-mails.

tbh he didnt say "please leave a tip before i start working" he literally wrote "you can leave a tip" as in " you may do such an action of social customs as leaving a monetary sum for a job well done, if you as a person on this planet see such job as of good quality". But I agree, he reminds you that you CAN leave a tip IF YOU WANT before he delivered anything. That is weird. Imagine coming to a coffee house and the waiter gives you looks for not leaving a tip first before you even open the menu.

Now I know why I would never make it as a freelancer. I don't have the ability to rip off people and try to scare them with firing up a support ticket against their valid requests...

Man loved this video. I started web development about 3 months back just for fun with about 5 dollar course on udemy. And I'm not gonna lie this made me think good about myself.

The thing is, most of us have no idea how is it to be a programmer in a third world country where you can literally hire a senior developer by 500 dollars.

the image container shows a padding left and right which makes it narrower than the first section. i would not load bootstrap when i can do it with a few lines of CSS.

All these sites are are cookie-cutter templates and they are customizing the images and text. While the sites are functional in my opinion they are quite ugly.
@GameFuMaster5 жыл бұрын
I don't think they're ugly, but they're just forgettable. So many SPA sites all look the same, not to mention they have a huge top to bottom scroll which makes it extra annoying to find stuff.

Put a check on your cost of residence, transportation, living expenses. Everything is way overpriced for what you get. Put it in check and you don't have to worry about someone else doing what you do for less.
@oussemamiled45455 жыл бұрын
that really makes me nervous, that's why people don't trust new freelancers like me. And the 5$ websites kills the industry, people wanna do work for no money especially the ones that has low currency value in their countries. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Seller: Puts $50 for basic website. Western Overlords: It's too expensive. Why pay $50 for a whole website to someone in 3rd world country when I can pay $200 to web developers here for just installing a theme. Result: 0 customers Seller: Puts $5 for basic website and asks if he wants additional services like domain and hosting. Western Overlords: OMG! If you want $50, just say so. I'll give you $50. Why are you scamming me? :o

I remember doing few 5$ gigs in early days of fiverr. Its hard to kick on. Not sure would use the plugin though. A decent free basic template, probably a modifications or two and we're doing for 5$.

Wow, i am working on fiverr when i have free time and i am always very nice for customers. But early on i had probelms with pricing, after 10+ jobs done i can say when it is worth, ussualy i am doing it cheap but it dosen't matter for me at all, i am getting more and more expirience, working on real clients requests and that is great and totaly worth it, especially beacause i am still learning in school (school is waste of time, learn coding by yourself) so i am doing something usefull. This video showed me that i am really good programer. Good, keeping in mind that i have learned all things myself and i can provide good quality cheap work.
