Love it. I don't have any inks but I do have Inktense pencils. I might try a scratchy style drawing, spray and use a big brush to loosen some the pencil in areas then scrape some pigment from the pencils for a Brusho like burst. Thank you for the inspiration.

Oh I love this. Splish splosh, splatter splatter and you have a tree! Brusho would work well on this as well.

I have been using india ink very similar to this. A great way to ceate new things. I havent done colors yet but used the white ink and liquid charcoal so far. Thank you for all of the items you make and help inspire us.

Love this! Landscapes and trees are my particular interest...working in a freer style is my goal. I will try this soon...just need to move house and country of residence first!

Such good advice. Thanks Lois, I’m trying to learn how to control the paint to different wetness of the paper. So much depends on timing and thickness of the paint. Your videos are really helpful. Thanks so much!

Very interesting, the ink is from some spice brand or normal Chinese ink.

Lois what ink brand do you like. i so far have only tried blick kind since they are local sale. But i do want some nice ones. Also maybe some best of watercolor pencils. i understand the carandauche museum ones are really liked.

Thank you for this very encouraging video, Lois. I really love trees, and loose trees in particular! What is the spray bottle you use? I've never seen one like that abart from yours!

My daughter gave it to me, it’s the type of spray mister that hairdressers use, easy to find online
