My gf has most definitely lost interest and I wasn't even trying to see her all the time , maybe once or twice a week. At first she even wanted to meet more and I stopped her in her tracks. I wouldn't blow up her phone and I kept busy and for 5 months I had her crazy about me. Then this week she drops off a cliff, she's texting way less and her messages became short and one worded. She asks to meet on Friday, I agree and Friday comes and she didn't even follow through. No mention of her even bringing it up on the day. So I called her out on it , she said she wasn't feeling well. Fair enough, but that doesn't excuse to not even acknowledge what she has arranged with me and forget that it even exists . The day we went to meet , she went out swimming earlier in the day yet flakes on me in the evening. Then the next morning she says she's gonna see a friend out of town, yet wouldn't see me the night before. That's too low interest for me , I suspect there's someone else in the picture. I decided to just call it quits and dump her , it will get worse till I eventually find out the person she's feeling more than me.

Ive had my hand in kicking my own rear end in most relationships and a marriage. I naturally came to acting in the way this video describes and it simply works. The one im with now (2 years) i pulled no punches with her. I told her out of the gate that once i sense the intimacy starting to decline, sex life declining or interest declining, that i wont be with her anymore. Granted, i knew full well that those would decline to an extent, but i held the frame. Ive told her that i know im attractive and described it (using her own standards to drill the point home) i have a good job with ability to climb, can pay for myself, care for myself, support myself, and basically have my resources locked down and handled, as well as having investments and retirement plans. Ive told her that i am not "hers" nor is she "mine" that it is merely "our turn" with one another. Is this turn going to be temporary or permanent? That is going to depend on if im getting my needs and wants met. If they're met, then ill be more likely to reciprocate which gives her the things she wants and needs, a positive snowball effect. Women are hypergamous and i think this mentality triggers that instinct. Also, i think the named "95%" of guys making the mentioned mistakes are making them due to the male protector/provider instinct, which keeps them from wanting to hurt her feelings, which is why the mentality stated in the video would and does seem counterintuitive. It clashes with the protector/provider in men, atleast generally speaking from my own observations.
