Developing a Roblox GAME on MOBILE (Studio lite)

I remember Roblox having this discontinued app back in 2016ish called Roblox Developer for mobile devices. It was developed by the Actual Roblox Corporation and was kinda like a mobile developer app. I think they discontinued it around 2018 and you can’t use it anymore. As for how it worked, I have no clue but looking back at some of the pictures they had listed it had very basic Roblox terrain functionality, probably some very early stuff.

Not really no. There are a few videos on KZbin about it but none that I can find working. Try searching up “Roblox Studio Developer App” or something along these lines. I genuinely don’t remember anything apart from this existing. For all I know it might have been just some random testing app for connecting to your game on mobile.

Also the app was removed from App Store and Android store (if it was there) so you probably couldn’t find it to download.

Probably. Trying to go to its app on the App Store yielded errors as it basically didn’t let me, so I barely know this. Also I downloaded it around 2015, according to the purchase record.

Studio Lite just announced: "Publish your Studio Lite game to your Roblox profile!" It requires setting up a Roblox Cloud API key. We need a video tutorial how to do that. Several people have already published games with links that can be found in Studio Lite.

right now 2024 there's a new update on studio lite and you can now publish games on phone but make an API key first so first click file at top left and save your game but click the white box if it's now blue save it and click help there you can make the API key
