I Made a Roblox Obby That's Secretly a Horror Game

Feedback: the 3rd level (treadmill blocks) is super hard to get past because the blocks move you too fast and they are too far apart. This is ok, except it is the 3rd level, right at the beginning. I would suggest to either make it easier or put it farther along in the obby. Edit: I know some people may think this is very easy to get past, but I am just saying this for people who are not good at Roblox obbys because it is right at the beginning.

feedback: there is a little bug where if u die and one of your body parts touch the spawn then you will be respawned to that stage. i reccomend adding like floor barriers to prevent that, and maybe a invisible lava brick coating so it acts like a void.

Feedback: this game could take hours upon hours to complete, as if you die on the last level, there's about a 50% chance for your corpse to slide off and land on a checkpoint below the level, forcing you to do half the Obby again.

I actually managed to complete the obby and it was really REALLY difficult. It feels like a huge accomplishment, the hardest level (for me) was level nine and I died at least sixty times, but I really liked the obby! Being picky, I wasn’t a big fan of the story, but you made the obby hard but completable. Make more obbies and stories in the future, man!! I’m looking forward to it :)

that ice pathway thingy on the second to last level was the bane of my existence and took me like 20 minutes to clock how to complete it💀 i found that it's best to be in first person with the cursor facing the line underneath ur avatar and using that as a guide and inching like a cm at a time it's super tedious but using 3rd person randomly made my avatar glitch and faze through the floor💀

idk if this would help for future games like this, but if you want the bot/person to sound more real, i recommend making them act more and more distressed as they progress on in the story/obby, begging the player to stop playing. another thing, you could try making the player freeze for a few seconds when they start getting near the end as if the bot is actively trying to stop them (and like the player had to spam certain keys to break free and continue), and if they player actually finishes, you could try and make the bot getting deleted as they finish the game, as well as the world around them as the bot cry's out for help in a distorted voice, leaving the player in a dark, empty space with faint music in the background, white text slowly fading onto the screen saying smth like: "Congratuations!!1!!!11 you beat the obby!" idk lol, i love psychological horror games and just though that maybe i could help give you some ideas for some future games :) (not hating, this is genuinlly really cool, i could not code to save my life- amazing game 👍👍👍👍) edit: i recommend playing Doki Doki Literature Club if you want a feel of a genuinely fucking terrifying phycological horror game (or watch a break down of how its such a successful horror game)

Feedback: I was in Level 10 (Lava Hill) already, with the Creator saying "This is your last chance", and I got hit by the lava block while on the way to the end. Somehow I think my decapitated head hit the checkpoint in Level 4 (Boulder Ladder) and I now keep getting reset back into Level 4. I spent all my patience in that ice tightrope, so man it feels like such a waste doing all that. No way I'm doing that all over again lmao. Still nice concept

@@ultimateblockyfan You need hella patience to beat the game, he wasn't talking about creating it. 90% chance that on the final stage your body parts hit a previous checkpoint and you get sent back like 6 stages, especially hard ones like the ice tightrope. And the last stage lags hard, so the chance of you dying is very high. Oh and since the stage is slanted/sloped downward, body parts are guaranteed to hit a checkpoint below, if it was flat there would be no issue.

Large bug noticed: On the last stage when you get tossed by the red walls, if you die and one of your limbs touches another checkpoint you get respawned there, I replayed this twice and that keeps happening to me. Also, I feel like you should ether make the tightrope bigger, or not make it out of ice, if nether of those maybe try to shorten it, due to the small size, iciness, and the amount of time it takes it gets kinds of annoying to do. Last, I feel like the holders should be a bit smaller because they could hit you even if you jump to the other side of the Ladder. Overall though I love the concept of the character and the gam in general.

My recommendation: Make the obby increasingly harder, like the creator is trying to make the stages much harder, and the final level's genre as 'jank' (search it!). To portray the creator's emotions deteriorating. If you fail, the creator will, yeah. But if you win, make a secret badge! Also the difficulty range? Tier 0-17 Just a recommendation, though

At first i thought this was gonna be him making 'A Stereotypical Obby', which if u don't know what that is, it's a "normal", stereotypical obby that gets harder as u go on, it shows a difficulty chart on each checkpoint, and u can play it alone or with others. When you reach the Normal difficulty is when it starts getting creepy, with the screen becoming slightly darker, and it becoming a bit more unsettling, but still pretty normal. Hard difficulty is when it starts to get creepy, with the sky turning to night, and the moon having an eye on it, occasionally seeing your character in front of you, waving at you, your head starting to twitch a bit, and a strange entity randomly appearing with a loud staticy sound. Extreme difficulty is basically hard difficulty, but with the screen becoming more staticy, and it becoming creepier. There's one final level which is the hardest and creepiest. At one point, text shows up on the screen in a red font saying "turn/ go back". There's obviously more to the game than that, but that's just a basic (not so basic) summary of the main game (there's also some minigame-like stuff you can play as well!)

I like the obby, but i recommend doing something similar to how the intro looked(with speed), where either you complete it(or finish just those 10 stages and progress) or die at the very end of stage 10, and then the horror aspects start, even introducing the "creator" aspect if you want to make it last more than 10 stages(or "loop" with differences) and go from there The problem is, it feels like its not trying at all to be innocent(even without watching this video, you could tell) Another game did something similar, with the difference being, the "innocent" aspects being part of the lore, and less trying to lure the players into a false calm, which is how the horror immediately starting worked well with that game Also i recommend making it at least more than one player, as that is suspicious in itself Though im not saying this is a bad game, or anything, you did great making it, and looks fun to play, i personally couldn't make anything like this myself either anyways, its just i kind of had more expectations especially after seeing the intro with speed, it just makes the title and thumbnail more of a clickbait attempt as a result

Feedback: the 9th level (thin ice) was a really hard level aside from the 10th level (spinning lava blocks) which was easy, maybe make the ice more wider so that way it would be slightly easier.
