Bongophile ,you chose "not so good " state for development news content . You will find it hard. But keep trying You can also do secondary research on How IT grew Faster in Gurugram & NOIDA or Pune or Hyderabad compared to WB . Why WB is not the Healthcare Capital if India like Chennai even after having First Modern Hospital by British along with Madras . Why the Fintech is not becoming the real fintech but a common address of Govt. banks & Offices ? Why there is negligible number if GCCs/GICs in Bengal ? Why FDI is less than Double landlocked Uttar Pradesh WB (11th Rank) UP (10th Rank) Why Per Capita Income of Bengal was highest in 1960s but now behind Odisha ( among lowest 10 ) ?

But being a bengali, it's really very disheartening to see such negativity around social media when it comes to Bengal. So, through this channel, our only aim is to highlight the few brighter aspects happening around the city or our state. But your recommendations are really constructive and a matter of concern for all such optimistic Bengalis who wants Bengal to regain its past glories.

I left Bengal in early eighties and since then closely monitor the states limited growth without pinpointing negativity. Definitely some turnaround has started happening though at a slow pace.
