This man is a genius; I don't use that word lightly. His passion and love for his art is apparent in the very essence of his character. Almost no movement is wasted in his dance, his technique and musicality are both refined and unique, and his creativity is seemingly boundless. He is without a doubt my favorite dancer, and my biggest inspiration in dance. He's either having the time of his life on stage or painting works of art. Watching him move stirs up some primal instinct in me, and I can't help but want to try it for myself. He's an amazing teacher, he's taught me more than any other dance tutor has been able to- he keeps everything so simple, and in that simplicity, the complexity follows. But most of all, his remarkable talent is contrasted beautifully by his humility. He has all the right in the world to be egotistical, but he's capable of putting aside his pride and appreciating what others have to show. He ain't no punk though, which is why I'm lowkey glad he beat Lau at SDF. One of the few people to receive the hug, return it, and survive.

I couldn’t agree more with your comment. His creativity is seemingly boundless, passion for movement immense, shows humility yet is ferocious all the same. His musicality and movement helps me imagine how my own body can move. He’s simply incredible

I think this man is this generation's greatest dancer, no cap. His timing is impeccable and he hits every note perfectly. He actually knows the songs like he personally made them which gives him the ability to have an edge over other dancers performance wise. Insane.

Paradox smoother than butter! Moves @ 7:09 & 12:27 were plumb insane, and his last freestyle was so heartfelt. I greatly appreciate his originality; he's just purely himself. Notice how in awe & emotional the spectators are, while studying his moves at the same time. Thanks for this, Deven!

The second clips make me love this dancer long time ago, I think his style seams to be the same but is pattern is so randomicaly and clean to be realy difficult to understand the quality express by this dancer. Underrated by my modest opinion.

What do you call this type of "dancing"? Just wondering so I can stay far away from it. Flailing wildly is not breaking, popping & locking, shuffling, or any other kind of dancing. It just looks like a little kid trying to copy how daddy dances... 😂
@garethreynolds90614 жыл бұрын
Lol, it's called fusion style. Definitely hip hop and krump base. You're very obviously missing/not paying attention to a lot of his movement, it's all very deliberate. I fail to see any "flailing". Must be weird being negative enough to go onto KZbin comments to talk shit about world-class dancers respected by dancers at the highest level. Yes, obviously he's not locking, but there is a decent amount of popping substyles and concepts going on. Threading, liquid, waving, ticking, a ton of isolation (which is arguably popping). The majority of his style is using hip hop grooves and playing with concepts. In fact, he commonly uses running man, reject, and indian step, which are all arguably shuffling moves (although reject is originally from jerkin and indian step is from bboy toprock).
@DevenAyambem4 жыл бұрын

I still don't get how people think fusion style is bad. Before I took dancing seriously, I already know Paradox is a genius when I first watched a moudzy compilation video.

how bout just get away at this video if you dont like his dancing style? Funny how you trash talk a pro dancer while you're not even known to anything. Know your place, try to get on his level first before talkin shit
