how to disable grid control on specific condition, for example Users are not allow to select data from gridControl when click a button?

Can someone tell me if I can continue to use Dev Express controls version 14 without having to pay the extortionate cost ? I realise it's up to at least 17 now but we still use version 14 point something at work with no problem other than no support or lack of later features. How do I use an earlier version than 17 in this way on my home pc ?

Hi Robert. Once you sign in to your account, you'll have access to download the last version that was made available to you during your year long subscription. +muh sarip: Actually, I believe anybody with even rudimentary understanding of programming would find this to be a very good "intro" video. Basic operation with no depth of discussion. Just enough to get you started so you can explore the control on your own.
