Honestly, i hate how they ended the season. I love ben and Devi so I hope that they can come back together in season 3 since Ben now knows the real reason behind her backstabbing Anessa. I love Anessa as well but I don't think she should be with Ben. Paxton is alright but I feel like he's always late at expressing his emotions. Also, I feel like he hurt her too many times.

I am team Ben but I totally get her relationship with Paxton because both matches still have potential. Paxton was(/is) scared of commitment and a bit too conceited so he never wanted a serious long lasting relationship. This is why when she said she was leaving, he said to make the best of it (unlike Ben who was fine with long distance) and simply treated her like a friend with benefits. His fear of commitment justifies his reaction to Devi wanting to be back together because when he sort of let his guard down and allowed a really relationship, it turned out she was playing him. Also, at the end when he faces his fear for Devi and shows up to the dance it’s really sweet. Ben on the other hand always unconsciously liked her just like she unconsciously liked him and feared one sided love, leading him to dating other girls throughout the show. However, he is satisfied with being friends with her as long as he doesn’t admit to himself how much he loves her. I understand why some fans prefer Paxton because she doesn’t lie to herself about wanting to be with him but she’s not really in love (from my perspective at least), not like she is with Ben. The goals, lifestyles, priorities and personalities of Ben and Devi align so well. For example, Ben who lives practically alone most of the time really needs attention, while Devi who’s controlled by her family’s religion which she doesn’t connect to, really needs acception and both need unconditional love, which they provide for one another. What makes this show so interesting is that they all deny their feelings but eventually come back to their crush one or multiple times so I wouldn’t be mad if she did end up with Paxton but I would cry for sure because she deserves Ben and he deserves her. Oof that’s pretty long sorry

It’s so difficult to decide whom she should date is because she has special moments with both of them Paxton was his childhood crush and as a teen it was dream come true . He was there for here 2-3 times when she needed him . He was considered one of the hottie of his school so as a teen he had his apprehension as Devi cheated on him and he was upset as he lost his chance to get into college. But he realised that Devi pushed him to believe in himself If one notice he shared things his stuff about Devi with her sister also Paxton dint express his feelings well . Ben as said unknowingly always liked Devi (I feel) and felt closed to her and as Devi treated him well even they had their banter. They both push each other to their limits . He was caring towards Devi and wanted well for her . Devi liking Ben was more than any childhood crush , it was a more mature and understanding relationship.. I feel somewhere she took Ben for granted also as she stayed at his place when she moves out in season 1. She had that comfort Level with him . She pretty much liked Ben too .

I think that Devi thinks that she’s in love with Paxton because she has liked him for so many years. So I’m all reality she’s not really in love with Paxton and she’s been just hiding her feelings for Ben from herself all these years in there rivalry to be number one. You could tell that several times that been wanted to kiss Devi even though he was with aneese. In my theory, Devi actually care and like Ben but after what she did to Ben by two timing with Paxton. I don't get why people say she deserves to be with Paxton because he forgave her easily after the cheating incident and because Ben moved on with Aneesa. I believe Paxton did that because he was less emotionally invested than Ben(who said he was all in when he asked her out) which was why he was able to get over it quicker. I know I would never forgive any guy that does that to me so easily especially if I was really into him. Besides, Paxton refused to commit and go to the dance with her not because he was scared of being hurt by Devi again but because of what his friends would say about him dating the girl that cheated on him with a nerd. The first thing he did when he entered the dance hall with Devi was look at his friends and their reactions were a stark difference from the reactions of Devi's friends. I’m 100% team Paxton. Ben and Devi is such a cute and well couple, but Paxton showed a new side of himself in S2. Even tho Ben where there for Devi, Paxton gave Devi another chance as he really liked her. And no, he dosen’t use Devi for sex. In Ep3 Gigi told us about how they were seen as sexsymbols, and maybe that was the only thing Paxton could be known for as he wasn’t that smart, along his looks. Ben also moved on from Devi which also shows how he wasn’t too interested, I fully get that he’s hurt but maybe it was faith. In S3 Devi and Ben probably will figure something out. But as I see it, Paxton and Devi are made for each other. I hope Devi stays with Paxton. Ben and Anessa are so cute together too but something tells me he only dates her to forget about Devi. Whatever happens they should all be happy.

I agree they all should be happy. I am on team Ben but think it could end either way. Paxton in S2 got a side of him shown. Which definitely made me a bit more neutral. To be honest i think that devi only sees him as sex or an attraction. I think that she may just desire Paxton but not be in love with him. I think she is in love with Ben. I don't think Ben is over Devi not even close. From my perspective even the last 10 minutes of the last episode showed that. The way they looked at each other showed it. I love that they showed more of the true Paxton and his background. From what I have seen Ben and Devi look like endgame. The only thing that sucks is Ben is dating Anessa. Hr obviously loves Devi which is why in the next season he iss most likely going to either dump Anessa or keep denying his feelings for Devi since she is in a relationship with Paxton. Devi i also feel is trying not to acknowledge her feelings for Ben either since he is in a relationship. I think Ben may have felt he could be with Anessa and stop feeling for Devi. I think he realized he could when Anessa didn't take the extra credit court thing seriously and Devi did for her and Ben. But then again this is from my perspective of it. Could go either way just hope everyone is content at the end of it all.
