Devialet Phantom 2xSilver Testing

Just some footage of my two Devialet Phantom Silver.
This is not my listening setup, but just to show them in work! Ultra clear and loud! Shot with iPhone 7, so the audio quality is not the best.

I had a silver, then upgraded to a pair of golds. I am very fond of the sound signature of both models. BTW that print in the back is very Devialet'ish!!

I have a silver and was thinking of getting another to complete the silver stereo but also considering the gold stereo further down the line. Could you elaborate on your thoughts on each ones sound signature?

Aristides Peralta Sure! The silvers are warmer in the mid-bass and more laid back in the highs. I honestly might like them more with most music. The golds are more neutral in the bass. They are very detailed and analytical in the highs, but will demand a better recording, and show their superiority with such. Overall they sound 98% the same and both are just mind boggling at their price point. I have two 25k+ systems and friends with 100k systems and this is the first time I have ever felt so content with a music system.

@@hapexamendar1093 the gold's mids and highs are much better because of the grade 1 titanium tweeter, I don't think the highs are necessarily more analytical, they are more transparent and clear, like an electrostatic speaker for example, as if there was nothing covering the sound , everything is very clear, transparent, sharp and in the case of the Gold, very natural, the mids are absolutely unbelievable in the Gold (now Phantom I)

Thanks! Ikea does the job ! The picture is from a Norwegian interior store called Bohus. Cant seem to find it for sale anymore. I dont know the name of the photographer or the print. Its on the floor beside the cabinets. Just for the video! This is not my daily setup :) They know what kind of speakers Phantom is, do they enjoy them between the walls

Had them a year now! No issues, still loving them and enjoying the sound! No regrets for spending the money on this beautiful piece of technology!

Hard to say! Im not an audiophile, im just a regular guy that fell in love with the sound/loudness/design and brutal clean sound they produce!

I can answer this one!! The silvers are a bit more colored than the golds. Both are awesome! If you want a bit warmer, maybe even friendlier laid back sound go for the silvers. If you want the very analytical neutral truth go for the golds. Personally I think they are the two best speakers on the planet unless you want to spend a ton more money and spend a lot more time on the setup.

Absolutely! The sound, craftsmanship and the easy way to setup and start listening is great! You get a good sence of quality the second you open the box. So clear and rich sound, and deep bass is so perfectly balance! I think they are perfect for all music genres:)
