There's nothing wrong with having friends of all different political or social or whatever points of view. It's a good thing because who better to discuss things with? Sometimes you might even find out you're on the sane page with different parts of a solution to the same problem. None of us are under any obligation to divulge our political party if we don't want to anyway, also a good thing. The important thing is how we treat each other.

Dev, the following might sound like one of those asshole voices, and I live on the other side of the pond, so I don't understand the local nuances, but I'd appreciate it if you at least try to understand my point. that out of the door, the main problem of our modern society in the global sense, as I see it, is not lefts or rights, it's the polarization. the vocal activists on both sides engage in shouting matches, the regular - and mostly good - folks listen to that and take it personally. everybody ends up hating everybody, and this hatred erodes the society like never before. you've always been a tad too quick to call people Nazis. I've never liked it - as much as I don't like the opposite-side youtubers calling people things they call them - but hey, that's OK, you're talking about physical security and stuff, I don't care much and can ignore those parts. I've been following InRange for the best part of a decade now, and I've always been really supportive - at the InRange Army level, for many years. My main, if not only, point of appreciation has always been Karl staying out of the politics as much as possible - especially out of throwing insults at the other side, deserved or not - while still pushing the inclusivity and the "2nd amendment is for everybody" idea quite gently, and, honestly, quite effectively. unfortunately, that has started to change at some point. InRange and the US Brutality matches are clearly going into the direction of becoming yet another in-group communication bubble, indistinguishable from many others. dismissing Gundies is the right call, the orgs are scumbags. dismissing people that get nominated or otherwise interact with Gundies? come on. I understand this is not necessarily a bad thing from your perspective. I am just not sure if it helps to solve the problem - in fact, I think it makes it worse.
