@@dwarflordNo one of these people care about the long-term. That's the reason these servers come into existence and why hardcore was so popular. People don't enjoy maxing out their character and then flexing in Naxx gear in the town square for 10 years. It's all about the journey from level 1, to Deadmines, Sunken Temple, BRD and many others then Molten Core, and gradually progressing to Naxx. Naxx isn't the peak of classic, it's just its end.

DD has been super friendly and welcoming since I’ve joined. Honestly has been a great experience, haven’t seen GDKP raids scamming people either which is a breath of fresh air

The people that started the deviate delight push has been working on it for months, they made multiple accounts on both factions and advertised for months before they started to pick up steam. But whats the point of this video? Are you afraid that this will pick up steam and take players from whitemane? Whitemane only recently went back to medium server status. (for 30 minutes a day on weekends.) But why put these guys down? Instead of giving support you make a video shitting on them with. "Flopping." People don't want to play on whitemane, where everyone is in T3. Where naxx GDKP's go for max gold trade on items, the whitemane auctionhouse is also totally cooked from rampant years of gold buying and gdkp's. Let these guys have their fun. Also the horde on Deviate delight is a bit more populated, that's the only real sad thing. But how about showing support for fellow classic players instead of ripping down their hard work.

I don’t think the title and thumbnail of this video matches the content at all. At no point in the video does there appear to be a flop or a failure mentioned. I love your videos man. Learned a lot from you. But accuracy is key. Let’s just bring everyone back to classic no matter what server.

People would FLOCK to fresh vanilla servers. Just liked they did for season of discovery. Now the SOD population is 10% of what it once was. I think people would stay longer on vanilla.... but who knows

The problem with this Deviate Delight fresh thing is that you need people who want fresh AND are fine playing on an EMPTY server. That's a really niche subset of people. They should have just done a fresh guild on Whitemane, brought more players in, only invited level 10's etc the same way. Why split the barebones ERA playerbase even further.

agreed. I had that same argument for not having separate hardcore servers. Yes maybe they were being greifed, but hardcore players kept the lower levels alive, while the raiders kept ERA elite as more and more players hit t3 gear and nax. its why era feels more raid loggy than usual, all the levelers are in hardcore and separated from the visual pop. Which is sad.

_Bro, I'm Canadian as well and I don't think you really understand why people are on Deviant Delight. Everyone knows Whitemane has the highest POP in Classic WoW, and everyone knows Devialt Delight is not as populated. That's not the point of the Deviate Delight movement. The point of it is that DD offers a closer representation of the original WoW because it has completely different server settings then Whitemane and all the servers that are clustered together._

I think that the more correct takeaway from this video is that I think that DD is likely to fail. Since this video was posted yes the population has increased. But ultimately I still think it will fail as all fresh hype trains do. Thus why invest player time into a server with an unknown future lead by players who smuggled 100k gold onto a "fresh" server and mass report people who go against the status quo?

@@DankHillCometh have any proof of that? I am skeptical. I dont think that blizz is acutely aware of the fresh movement. I think its much more likely that its just happened to be like that. Keep in mind someone could have cloned a tier 3 char, never have transfered off and decide to log in one day. I also saw some 60's in BGs so they are already breaking their rules. 6 weeks rank 14 before any1 even clears molten core
