My wife underwent Septoplasty surgery by a top ENT surgeon in Hyderabad, India which was very helpful to her initially but it came back within 2 years. Believe me surgery is not at all helpful in DNS. There is always a chance of reoccurrence of DNS post surgical intervention. The best way to get out of DNS is to take steam everyday and do some DNS related Yoga. All ENT surgeons wants to make money and dont tell the truth to patients. This is my personal experience though I am from healthcare sector and connected to top ENT surgeons across the world.

Sorry to hear of what happened. Septum is made of cartilage and bone. Never it can managed with steam inhalation. Before surgery I explain to my patients that I can correct 70% only. I am not God to make it 100%. If the patient agrees and sign the document I do surgery. I have been operating for past 23 years my patients don't complaint to me after Septoplasty and they review for other ent problems.

You have written that all ENT surgeons wants to make money". You are in heath sector. Dont you make money. Have you any time refused your salary. Have you anytime given off all your salary in donation. Are you working free . I don't want to hurt your feelings. You know how costly the equipments are. They don't give us free. We need money. But do not greedy. That is my policy.
