Fun fact: the lead single, “Pressurelicious” only has 2 credited writers. Future and Megan. This shows her ability to not only construct a good song, but construct a song worthy of being a lead single and a SOLID, good one at that. She’s a force to be reckoned with.

I will definitely add that if you know “SoundCloud Meg” then the 90s-early 2000s would make so much sense. Look up her first two mixtapes Rich Ratchet and Make it Hot It’s one of my faves and no one really talks about those two. Megan took it back to her freshman in college days. I’m so proud. Lucky Daye is also a songwriter on Alien Superstar for Beyoncé’s new album. He’s Bey approved so that alone seals his talent! LMAO!

@14:04 spoke facts and facts only from this point. Gosh u are so real. I think if she got somebody to do her chorus and smooth out the edges of her verses with more rhymes, she'll reign suprime. But I feel she won't do it, bc she stays true to the "no help" code of rap. That's her pride, her mum was a rapper so she has a lot to prove by writing everything herself to honor the genre and it's code. And I love it sm tbh, it makes her authentic and separates her from others, she's a real rapper, better than all the current male rappers combined. Plus if she decided to get help ppl will start talking 👻 stuff etc. Now days ppl want credit for just putting a komma in lyrics. I'm really proud of her and ik she'll outdo herself anyways, so I'll just enjoy the ride. Megan writes 99,9% of all her songs. Who does that this days??

I liked this a lot better than good news. There’s a few songs I could do without but overall it was good 😌 I can see scary coming out with a video around Halloween Edit: the sample you’re hearing in consistency is biggie’s big poppa which samples between the sheets by the Isley brothers!

Thank you for showing love to Star! I hear everyone loving all the other tracks, but I think Star is such a fun song and people overlook it, cause it's not considered her "usual" sound. As a whole I think the album was solid, cause Megan really got creative with her sounds and there's a little of everything from classic hip hop to R&B, to pop vibes. And I hope she's not only happy with it but keeps experimenting and growing cause this has shown her versatility.

Absolutely agree. She really knows how to deliver a memorable verse that is catchy and everything but she misses with most of the choruses. Nonetheless, I love this body of work (even without the singles we've already heard) and still can't get over how great she sounds on 'Scary' and 'Anxiety'.😭

This album was a solid 8/10 for me! There’s some songs that didn’t hit immediately, most of them did, but the ones that didn’t will definitely grow on me because there was something that I liked about every song Not you predicting Her being the next single! Now we need a music video reaction 👀 Edit: Came back to say that you NEED to check out Lucky Daye. He’s never given a bad feature and he doesn’t know the meaning “bad song” because literally everything he touches is gold. His collaborations with Victoria Monet are some of my favorites. Definitely my favorite contemporary male artist

Megs music just hasn't been it for me since her Tina snow Era. Her topics and songs all sound the same. Her samples and beats aren't giving like they used to.
