The first combo I changed to d3+4, 2, 312, dash, 31ff, b4. It sets up a mixup and is, to me, more consistent. They wake up to MC or a wavedash mixup but the wavedash window is tight but possible. I tested it only in practice but against literally all wake up options. The Mishima Vortex I don't think I have to explain. That's all the wavedash mixups. Crow 1 is a good option but it is beaten by quick recovery, side rolls, get up mids, and the spring kick. However, it's +8 on block if they side ukemi and block. Crow 22 beats all of those options and is the only option that trades with spring kick because spring kick beats everything else including the wave dash. Crow 3 launches quick recovery, hits side and forward rolls, and is overall the safest option despite being blocked with a side ukemi block and you are -7 then so your turn is now over. This is irrelevant because why would anyone do a raw Crow 4? Surprisingly it beats recovery low. If you have a spring kick spammer, use fly 2 or laser. 2nd combo I used fly 2 as the ender as it's only 1 point less of damage, leaves at +4 and the opponent on their backs with their head towards you. You have oki with that. 3rd combo loved it. 4th combo it has the same part that was giving me trouble with first combo so I turned that into oki combo by just using the first combo and just did that last part for the carry or I ended it in back 4 for oki. Slightly less damage but more consistency and oki. So essentially it becomes, u4, fly 1, b21, ssr, 31ff, df324 if I want carry or u4, fly 1, b21, b4. 5th combo. I can do it but it's simply not worth it outside of being flashy and couldn't find an alternative that lowered the execution but gave better options. Only things I came up with were off by about 10 points of damage. If you have the execution great. However, the risk of throwing out bloody glaive out and dropping your combo can cost you. It is nonetheless a beautiful combo. If I can find an alternative I'll figure out a way to post about it. 6th combo almost got it but my arms are giving out. This one is easier for me than the last but the risk is still not worth imo. I don't and never did see the electric as a combo tool as it posed too much a risk. Always viewed it as a keep out tool and whiff punisher. If a combo starts with an electric that is fine but getting into other territory is unecessary imo. These are all my takes. I appreciate the video as I have to learn Devil Jin in Armor King's absence. I just wanted to post alternatives that had extra utility as I value that more than damage. Learned that from watching JDCR. He could do the staple CD2, CD1, df1, 1+2, 2, db24, s!, shining wizard combo mid match but he opted for for CD2, df3, df1, df3, db24, s!, shining wizard combo instead for consistency. He also only used Dark Upper as a whiff punish. Trying to apply the same logic and provide that knowledge is all. Gonna go back to practicing EWGF until I can do it 10 times straight. So far my personal best in 9.

technique for iws3: while you're in the combo/string animation, immediately hold 3 and then do a wavedash (f df) -> 4 Make sure the 4 is delayed because it'll do a hellsweep if it's too fast

For the combo at 0:30 is there a specific timing i have to do? I can get up to (sidestep right -> 3,1,FF) and then i cant do the last DF 3,2,4 because it doesn't connect Edit: I figured it out, I just have to delay as much as possible after the sidestep

Do you mean delay as much as possible "During" the sidestep? Like for me I can't wait after I sidestep I gotta go but I need to make sure I get the full sidestep to line the hitboxes up perfectly.

​@@walmartian422 there should be a delay after side stepping, like for me i sidestepped and then waited until i saw the feet start dropping (Enemy Feet). Edit: Because for me i was not letting DJ complete his sidestep i was stopping the sidestep to input my next set of moves. What fixed was seeing DJ complete his sidestep before inputing DF3,2,4

I feel like I'm losing my mind, but something is either bugged or I don't understand it. When I do the combo at 4:12, sometimes it hits for 63, sometimes it hits for 78. I've confirmed it is Heaven's Door. Before heavens door you sit at 53 damage. Sometimes heavens door hits for 7, and then 3 damage, and sometimes it hits for 15, and then 10 damage. I have no clue what is going on it drives me crazy. In one case the entirety of heavens door hits for 10 damage. The other, 25. Do you have any insight on this @RyzingSol?

you CAN play mishimas without the electric, you just have to play a bit differently. You don't NEED electrics to play any mishima. Reina in particular really doesn't need it.
