the crazy part is the fact that it isnt his most op move. The most broken moves of Vergil is his beowulf distorted mechanic/glitch. if you timed it well his straight punch you can ONE-SHOT a boss even on dmd difficulty. It's easier to do in turbo mode once you know it's timing for each attacks. What's impressive is his consistency at pulling them off from rapid slash despite having rising star purchased.

Damn, after 10hrs of playing, I was proud of hitting 4 achievements just now. Complete bloody palace w vergil in less than 2hrs with s rank on turbo mode. Then I watched how easy some guys do it w vergil on KZbin. N I died like 5 times mostly at 85 on the double blitz. Now on to beating Dante must die mode. Not sure who I'm gonna do it with maybe lady n Trish since I already did it on vanilla w Dante n Nero n Vergil has had his fun for the day.

The in game timer is inconsistent and incorrect. Do a run yourself and check the in game time vs a stopwatch and you'll see how wrong it actually is.

I can certainly confirm it exists on PC, I cannot say for PS4 as I don't own one but I do not see why it would be any different. Furthermore, in game time even if it were accurate times as if you were at normal speed, not Turbo. So even if you did it in 40 minutes an accurate in game time would still say 50 minutes. That said the video features exceptionally short load times so there is a chance there are editing shenanigans going on but I think it is legit.

Yes I'm not sure how that can be messed up so significantly but there you have it. I suspect it's something to do with counting frames as opposed to actual time, as when I've tested with deliberately framey gameplay it's been pretty whack.

He has uploaded this video with explanation on a Japanese video site. He says there is a bug when the GETTIME reaches the maximum value, the clear time is displayed as GETTIME - 98 minutes. (98 means the maximum 100 minutes minus the initial 2 minutes.)
