@SoysauceML7 жыл бұрын
It's not about destroying Credo, it's the attack reversing, insane lucifer timings and extremely impressive exchange of attacks passing each other and clashes that are creative AND technical (and to me, stylish). This is so much more impressive than speed running credo and killing him instantly. Take that dance macabre at the end, it wasn't dance macabre that killed Credo, it was a lucifer explosion that hit him the exact same time Dante releases his sword aura and turns off DT. I absolutely cannot comprehend this man.
Dude toys around Creedo, and her I am, still having trouble fighiting him on DMD.

Or he just scripted moves or combos to macros/bots and spammed them. You can tell by how a lot of his moves are just random stuff across the arena.
@XrX-ob6fg6 жыл бұрын
explain where is the random stuff in the video? What his doing require accurate input and no, its possible to become good as this as I myself keep on improving everyday. This people have played the game for a lot of years and studied the mechanics. The same can be pretty much said to those people who played melee for many years and manage to perfect wave dashing which is hard to master by the way.
@lflintx6 жыл бұрын
I am not saying all of his moves are scripted. I saying some of them are. A lot of what he does I could also do with enough practice. But there are some combos he does in the video that hits nothing but thin air and looks like the same pattern of move everytime. He dashes foward and back midair while doing some random Aerial Rave + others air attacks, looks backwards and land a attack that hits nothing. The only thing that stops him from repeat the same combo all the times is when the boss blocks, and so he's forced to do something else. Watch the video again very carefully and you will see what I mean: 0:21 to 0:26 - Trickster dash foward>Dance Macabre>cancels dance macabre with Darkslayer first attack>Million stabs>Air Trick>Any air attack>Random dashes backs and foward in the air while using any air attack + Darkslayer Aerial Rave or some other aerial move>attack facing backwards>lands>try to start a new combo. But if the boss blocks 2 or 3 of his attacks, he swaps to royal guard to block a possible incoming hit or to counter. 0:35 to 0:41 - Similiar situation than above, but the boss blocked the start of his combo and then he used royal guard to break his defence. Then proceeds with Darkslayer attack/Million stabs cancel>rest of aerial combo. Now on 0:50 to 0:55 - Same backwards Aerial Rave>lands>Million stabs>Air trick>same random dash backs and foward with random Aerial rave>Air Trick>lands with attack facing backwards. In 0:54 his 2 Stingers were supposed to hit the boss to "try to start a new combo", but since he landed facing backwards he missed one and swapped to Royal Guard. 1:03 and 1:38 - More random backwards Helm Breaker. Now the absurd part is here in 1:48 - He starts to make the same combo from 0:21, but this time in 1:50 to 1:53 he keeps canceling Million stabs and Darkslayer attack with Royal Guard at insane speed, this is just bullshit. There is no way a human can input Million stabs, attack with Darkslayer and Royal Guard cancel that many times in less than 0.2 seconds. He is obviously macroing or scripting that move dude. And just after that he proceeds with the same Air Trick>Helm Breaker>Air dash>Darkslayer Aerial Rave>land>Stinger combo from 0:21 and 0:35 that in fact is not that hard to do, but really looks like another scripted combo. Then if you go back there to 0:23 you can see that his air dash was supposed to pass above the boss head and land behind him, but it failed. Then again in 2:09 is the exact same thing from 1:38 and backwards Helm Breaker. 2:22 to 2:27 - Again with the impossible Million stabs/Darkslayer/Royal Guard cancel spam>same scripted Air Trick combo. 2:31 - Random backwards Helm Breaker again. 2:34 - Same scripted Air Trick combo again. 2:40 - Random backwards Aerial Rave. Pfff, God my ass. There are a lot of other good videos of insane combo out there wich do not look suspicious at all, that don't overuses spams or have questionable combo cancels.

Credo: YOU THINK YOU CAN DODGE THIS?? Sakaki: *blocks every attack*
@SoysauceML5 жыл бұрын
Blocking attacks are nothing special, what special about this video is how Sakaki uses micro movements from attacks that aren't dodges, and even reversing some of them. For example, in 0:31, he reversed a Slash Dimension (which is a lock-on move where normally you're forced to do facing the enemy, much like high time or stinger) from stinger sideways, which makes him move slightly to the left, evading Credo's spear, even though the move itself doesn't have any invul. Or 1:19, he did a Gilgamesh combo B to dodge an attack point blank, by making the first punch move Dante forward as Credo jump, which crosses Dante to the left, making Credo do the slam attack to the left, the the followup punch to the right, which crosses Dante back, evading the said slam attack. It's kinda like footsies in Tekken. Also not sure if you noticed, the end of the video, what killed Credo was the lucifer pin exploding from 10 second timer, Sakaki just timed it perfectly so that it looked like the last swing of dance macabre made lucifer pin explode and kill Credo. There are many highlights in this video, but these are among my favourites.
@SoysauceML5 жыл бұрын
Along the same lines, he trickster dashed into Credo, which blocks dash's horizontal movement until Credo jumps, making him barely cross over Credo, then uses shotgun stinger to dodge.

@@ArnoO242 It's actually just E&I, which isn't that hard. The idea was refreshing for its time though. Shotgun is much slower to cancel into the next move, andd you can't just plink the inputs like that. One of his most technical moments is in Credo leftovers video where he used [Stinger] → [Reverse Stinger] → [Reverse Just Release]. Since in order to reverse a move, you have to seamlessly link the previous one into it, so he calculated the time Credo's spear would hit him when he used the first stinger, executed this sequence so he can Just Release JUST AS the spear hits him. Not only you have to anticipate the timing 2 moves in advance, but you also have to factor stinger's movement which will affect the spear timing. And he does that TWICE IN A ROW.

Very nice deflection style and evasive maneuvers. My only twitch is the turbo which mostly makes the game revolve around your pace of combat rather than the core values.
Reversal tech, during the last few frames of uncancellable recovery of one move, you input the next move then quickly release lock on and hold down a direction, you can redirect that move to that direction. This was in DMC5 demo as well, but they took it out in the final release.

Donguri never fought Credo untilizing: Reversals to evade attacks, bare basic gilgamesh movement to manipulate boss hitboxes, AI attack angle abuse by simply walking, insane Lucifer timings (such as using a lucifer pin explosion to kill the boss the same moment of Dance Macabre swing). All you've shown is your lack of knowledge and understanding of the game, if you found some guardflying to be more impressive (which is while a intermediate tech, not something close to the difficulty of things pulled here. Even I can guardfly) than what Sakaki did here. This Credo is hands down one of the best, if not THE best Credo fight in the DMC4 history, and hands down the most creative, and is one with the highest caliber of hitbox manipulation in the entire DMC4 scene. P.S. Also "His attacks don't connect". Do you have any idea how difficult it is to consistently pull these reversals to dodge Credo attacks on purpose? Do you even know how to pull a reversal stinger? Can you dodge a standard Credo attack point blank simply by doing a Gilgamesh combo? Can you come up with another way to dodge them pointblank without resorting to actual evades? Sakaki did. The dance like back and forth interactions that Sakaki comes up with are far more interesting to look at than Donguri's repeated use of guardflying. P.P.S. Before you go on to talk about Donguri zipping around in guardflying, Sakaki has done guardflying even all the way back in 2013, it's not some super esoteric technique only Donguri do, nor is Donguri the person that started the trend. Look up AYU. Even if you don't care about Sakaki's delicate, intricate movements and ideas, there are far faster and technical players, like iceTATcream and Catherine Enthalby.
@EI-diablo-r9i5 жыл бұрын
Ofc ignoring the missed darkslayers, the missed streaks and Lucifer timings?? They weren't even connecting when they appear 25 ft away from the opponent consistently you know it isn't good. The repeated missed stingers as well as the reversals Maybe watch donguri playthroughs and reversals if you haven't seen them before generalising. Saraki isn't even switching styles consistently within 1sec for attacks and even in reversals, pulling up a royal hard isn't that guard (a thing he missed while doing here) . Watch some donguri videos better and stop spreading such blatant misinterpreted fanboyyism You talk as if credo is the most difficult boss to have been fought. Credo is utter fodder , predictable, Even the rebellion rotations had no point here. Donguri has blitzed on every move(including several reversals included with Lucifer) of his, not going to waste on bloody palace 80+ And now for the styles, you must be some special kind of weeb, if that's your excuse on sakaki not connecting and for him not beating fast enough. I see you conveniently ignored specifics in my comment so that youan nitpick on a generslisation you don't have any idea in comparing parry the spear? I'm talking about the missed strikes lmfao. Not the amateur parries Now his rebellion rotations are synced while editing to match the yamato finisher. Again ,ignoring where those rotations had no connect ornfollow ups, aren't you? Figured Next strike, the reversal stingers not connecting was the point talked, not if I can do it or not. Is there a special place you derive your interpretation from or something? Nut school Much better than me? Ik enough and more about style switching and attack cancels than majority of the playaz someone here listed. And again, your subjective opinion on them being better than me, with no backing beside your judgement sealed the deal of all your assumptions and concoted soft stories, half of even when read, don't look good for sasaki Now for the final strike for ya weebs, point me to the place of the style switching of sasaki. I have the game for a long time, and completed every difficulty multiple times. There's a difference between you and me being a fanboy. You talk over several points, ignoring it's base while strawmanning it into a different argument. Nice work on that, ya fangirl The points I brought up for sasaki are yet again, the repeated ones you again steel man, form it into a whole new point and then point fingers at me. Talked about the missed attacks ,he goes ahead and tells me it's about the styles ,ignoring the fact that those attacks were indeed missed, several of them, had no follow ups and no point.
@SoysauceML5 жыл бұрын
@@EI-diablo-r9i I can't believe how unreasonable and ignorant you are. *"Ofc ignoring the missed darkslayers"* *"streaks and Lucifer timings"* Do you even realize that Credo's spears do damage? Take 0:29 for example: 1. Ebony&Ivory as fodder to buffer reverse stinger (which is actually relatively easy to do which even I can do consistently), which when timed well can still deflect the second spear due to Credo's spears having huge hitboxes. 2. Second stinger is done to reposition himself closer, also as a reversal fodder for the next reversal 3. Buffer slash dimension from the last few frames of Stinger recovery sideways and reverse it (which again is a lock-on move that requires a special tech to reverse, for the backstep animation to position himself because it has no invul, the position shift allowing him to dodge 3rd Credo's Spear. Much harder to do consistently in battle, considering you have to time the stinger in advance to calculate the backstep timing). Donguri actually did something like this as well (combo B facing backwards), but not with a lock-on move backwards (by buffering its input and releasing lock-on before it comes out). The Slash Dimension on the third is a reversed one too. This is his creation, and has become known in the top player circle AND has been imitated by many player such as Vash the bullet. His use of DT Lucifer combo C allowed its attack property to parry the spear as well (as well as evade the last hit with its movement). *"The repeated missed streaks, as well as the reversals "* _Pull 5 reversal stingers back to back in a row against an enemy, then talk._ I'll even give you a tutorial vid, if you request. Act of pulling reversals itself (especially continuously in chain) is a demonstration of skill, much like most of Donguri's useless guardflying. Not to mention his intentionally done Stinger were used as original ways to evade or reposition, as well as to even *imitate* Credo's stinger (2:14, where he added a E&I shot which is useless save for use as a fodder for him to buffer a reverse stinger). Reversing something like that is not something you can accidentally do, it's something you have to intentionally buffer, which is can be extremely tight depending on the previous move. Look it up. *"You talk as if credo is the most difficult boss to have been fought. Credo is utter fodder , predictable,"* Missed the point completely. Sakaki was styling on the boss, not "blitzing". He was intentionally making this fight last long enough. Also Donguri doesn't blitz on Credo either (unless you're implying as fast as Donguri is he can't beat Sakaki dicking around). *If your idea is that kill time is more important, than Alexdmd blows Donguri out of the water beating it in like 20 seconds, sorry.* *"Even the rebellion rotations had no point here."* He whiffed the last hit of rebellion on purpose, so that it's in complete sync with the Lucifer pin explosion that he planted 5 seconds earlier (with bondage, 300 frames exactly prior), making it look like his swing killed it. This alone is more stylish than most things Donguri ever did. *"Donguri has blitzed on every move"* I'm sure him guardflying around into a fullhouse had strategic properties, lmao. In terms of pure input rate, iceTATcream and Catherin Enthalby both still blow Donguri out of the water. And both think Sakaki is among the best and don't think that way about Donguri. I don't even know why I'm bothering with a guy that calls stinger "streak". Do you even play DMC? And lmao me strawamanning about people playing for style. Donguri played for style, most people played for style, stupid. Like I said, DMC4 bosses can die very fast with max-act attacks and use of Gilgamesh's attacks, like how Alexdmd does it. You're fucking deluded if you think Donguri is trying to beat it fast (that or Donguri is disabled because even I can beat Credo faster than he does just by spamming distorted real impact and straight). You literally know fucking nothing about the game, let alone its mechanics or even how Donguri do those things. FFS you don't even know about Lucifer's 5 second timer.
