You ain't no real member of the family if you didn't get some crazy power up by being stabbed! Although in DMC 5 Nero got his real DT because of "Emotion". He hid his demon powers, because he didn't want Credo and Kirye hating him for his arm. Poor Nero. He had to go through so much bad things, even though he is the goodest of good Boys. A very good boy.

Despite having never met his father to that point, despite not even knowing who he is, he uses those almost the same words. Just shows that blood is blood, and that very desire was carried over to Nero and instinctively awoken... That is what Yamato recognized in him, that is why it was restored and entrusted by itself to Nero. It recognized Vergil's blood and that very same stubborn desire for power. The only difference is that Nero had Kyrie and Credo while growing up, so he wasn't alone like Vergil, who probably was 10-11 when he was living alone in the streets, sometimes wondering around the ashes of his home, wondering If his mother actually abandoned him, probably eating out of a trash-can, or perhaps stealing and sometimes even killing just to survive. That's why, while having the same hunger for power, that hunger was justified, he wanted to protect others, which awoke the power of Sparda's bloodline within him. While Vergil was power hungry simply for the sake of it. He wanted to be able to defeat loneliness, to defeat everything, to rise above and dominate everything, and in the end defeat Dante.

in fact, for me, Shall Never Surrender is one of the few songs that have a very important and personal meaning for me, especially the second part. this song has always motivated me to move on and seemed to gently remind me that I am not alone, that there is someone or something in this world that will help me fight difficulties and adversities: whether it is debt collectors, or the death of some of my loved ones, whether it is the beginning of a war or the departure of those close to me people. this is one of the few songs that helped me pull myself together and go. thank you, Capcom, for such a beautiful and masterpiece track.

Oh Yeah I remember when people hated Nero when the game came up and I liked the character design. New game have also great design except dmc4 have more semi realistic anime feel to it and new game feels more like a cosplay.
