DMC 5 took me a toe curling 3 months to platinum. I’m not talking - occasionally picking up the controller - but a concerted and consistent effort. Very tough. There is a move we’re you can summon a large meteor which can help with the Hell play through.

I hated the skull hopper secret mission But holding the target button helps by kinda (not 100%) stabilizing Dante’s forward movement midair withought making him move to the sides much

Oh yeah mine were green by then too, just use ifrit and do the hold triangle attacks on them they do good damage whilst doing less hits overall

I would need to farm normal mode before even retrying hard. Just normal was kicking my ass. I can't imagine dmd mode 😨. I didn't even know you could grind normal or hard for upgrades and items, since it seemed to just boot me into a fresh hard playthrough.

Oh yeah I’m nearing the end of my DMC 4 journey and have just completed mission 13/14 on DMD S ranked which was draining. Definitely the hardest at least so far…

Before I did DMD I did another normal playthrough where I collected as many items as possible and on DMD I bought as many as possible of things like holy water and health star things which helped a lot in a pinch

How did you get the read you like a book trophy? I'm stuck on paragraph 12 of Sin Scythe and I can't for the life of me do this.I try the shotgun, Ebony and Ivory and he dies with one shot but the trophy doesn't come

Some of them are practically impossible to get on lower difficulties so it could be that. I think paragraph 12 you need to get a critical hit with the shotgun after you stun them by hitting the scythe with the sword and to get the crit you need to shoot their mask so you may need to move a little bit after stunning them to hit the mask itself.

I’d say try at the coliseum but if that doesn’t work after a while then don’t stress and just try again on your hard playthrough and you can always die to reset the enemies I guess to keep attempting you just have to endure you shoot the mask so you may have to move around to hit it.

Do a normal playthrough or 2 as prep. What I mean by that is use those playthroughs to collect and buy as many items such as vital stars as you can as in DMC 1 you do not need DMD Mode S-ranks for the platinum. Good luck 😁

I was hating nighmare before trying dmd. Now i hate mundus much more...the fight is extremely tanky, and much harder than even on hard. Nightmare is ez if u know how to manipulate nightmare..nelo angelo 3 is hard(for me worked ifrit and dodge while grenade launcher). Griffon 2 is hard cause of the map. Otherwise, the game is not very hard. Just do a lot of runs and farm items..deff easier with items in inventory😊

Some of them are rare on normal difficulties so you have to get them on higher difficulties and a few of those are “kill moves” on Dante so for example, one is a blade killing you underwater with a melee attack which I unlocked after my first playthrough in the video. I couldn’t get them all on my first playthrough because I wasn’t allowed to use yellow orbs. 😁

Devil May Cry: HD Collection was released on ps3 then re-released on ps4 in 2018 I believe. So it’s a HD remaster 😁
