Graham Plowman: Makes songs named after the majority of H.P. Lovecraft's stories Me: Shit, I guess he's gonna run out of stories eventually to base his amazing music on Plowman: Starts making songs based on elements of Lovecraft's stories, like Leng or Yog-sothoth or Devil's Reef Me: My man!!!!

Me: Thank you! There's a minefield of material and even singular aspects that can be used for the basis of a track. And then there's the wider Mythos as well beyond just Lovecraft that can be used.

It's pretty nice. Good food lots of summer activities. You know. Singing dancing sacrifices murder genocide destruction madness...oh!!! And horseshoe never forget horseshoe!! The lights and light festivals are nice too. City gains this cold blue light as opposed to its usual orange hue

The happiness in my heart when I see you posting another master work lovecraftian piece, another set for my collection of lovecraftian horror material to use in my literature and role play. If ever someone attempts to make a movie from Lovecraft´s works, I pray to the old ones that you may compose the music for those movies!

Thank you, yes that'd be nice, the film score. I've just finished a horror feature film score. 'An English Haunting'. It won't be around until October though.

These new songs are awesome! I am excited to hear the rest of the album. Any hints as to when we shall see the full album released? Also, in a future-future album, I would be really excited to hear a song inspired/based on Pickman's Model, I know you would make that sound creepy and awesome!

Another release this quickly? wow you are on fire lately! I really like the foreboding feel of it, reminds me of Jaws, Bloodborne -The Hunter, Bram Stoker's Dracula - The Beginning. Also the Siren singing in the second half is fantastic. Have you heard Isle of The Dead by Rachmaninoff, Op. 29. It has this incredibly foreboding theme, an ebbing theme like a boat of the doomed, rowing closer and closer to their inevitable deaths. A build up of dread. I believe it was in 5/8th time signature. Unfortunately as was the style of classic of the time, theme's almost never sustained for long, a new theme or idea would enter breaking the emotional impact. I'm curious how you feel about sustaining a theme, building it up, payoff, and also about time signatures. What time signature's best fit with Lovecraft's works.

Thank you, delighted you like it. Interesting enough - whenever I'm asked about influences, I would often list Rachmaninoff, Howard Shore, John Williams and..... Wojciech Kilar! I love Isle of the Dead, also.
