So fun to have your Wonderful Wife with you and see some of her beautiful photos. 👌 Hi to Mickey too! Enjoyed the video as always and learned a little more about Canada, thanks! 🌟🌟😁👻👻

Yes, I'm not a daredevil so I kept a mindful distance. Not quite the same height as the hikes you do but still pretty nice. Thanks for taking the time to watch and write - much appreciated.

That's a real long drop off that cliff.. I'm not a "heights" person, so thanks for capturing that in your video, 'cause I would have been standing back about 20 feet and would never have gotten a look. The drone shots are fabulous and really show off Devil's Rock.. that's a deep lake with "Devil's Rock' extending 300 feet below the water's surface. Thanks for sharing your adventure with Mick and "your wonderful wife"!!

Thanks Al - I'm sure you would have had a closer look if you'd been there. Quite a beautiful area but that's one lake I don't wish to paddle. Most of the shore is steep so there's no escape when the winds pick up. Thanks for watching.

Wow, loved seeing this before work this morning! Gives me something to daydream about at the office today! Lol! You gotta watch those homemade "short cut" signs... ESPECIALLY if they have ACME written on them anywhere. (I'd also recommend avoiding piles of free bird seed with a handwritten "FREE" sign stuck in them.) That is both stunningly terrifying and beautiful at once! (Like Cup N Saucer terrifying!) I'll give that one a pass, and enjoy it vicariously through you guys! Thank you for having your dog on a leash! 😁👍 Thanks for sharing! Awesome video!

Lol! Yes, the old Acme products! Meep Meep! I thought the 'No mud' was a nice touch and something a bad guy hiding the bush would write...either that or "Free Beer!" So glad you enjoyed it. Have a good week.

beautiful area - when i was studying Trois Rivieres and Cap de la Madeleine it took me into the story of Father Buteux ( 1640's ) who used tribal guides to bring him up the St Maurice river. He was on the edge of Atikameksheng territory - so the story goes - the Innu were on the east and he died in the area where the traders had built a trading post. I keep wondering if his party reached this lake and if their story ties into the Whitefish Lake ( Atikameksheng ) story which would then tie into the Wahnapitei Res story and into the Lake Temagami and Lake Nipissing Anime story... relatively close to where you were. Nice editing as always and nice to see that your better half shoots with a camera and not a gun... lol

Lol! Yeah, I keep telling people she missed her chance to get rid of me, once and for all. So much history and it's hard to cover much of it in just a few minutes. I try to include a First Nations' component in my videos whenever I can but I'm no expert, that's for sure. Thanks as always for checking in, hopefully you've got some more of your own videos planned for the future.

Just this past summer a co worker was telling me about Devil's Rock, I had never heard of it! Did you see any established camp sites close by? Thanks Daryl✌
@flynorthproductions
@flynorthproductions Жыл бұрын
Hey Marc, there was a privately owned campground (tent/trailer) a couple kilometres north of Devil's Rock and it had a trail that leads from the camp to the rock. However, I think they may charge a fee for it unless it's covered in the cost of staying overnight. The trail looks like it follows the shoreline all the way up - probably some nice views along the way. I am not aware of any crown land sites in the area. Thanks for watching.
